Ferris Bueller’s Day Off turned 25 years old on the 11th and Atom has proven to us and hopefully to Hollywood why there has never been a sequel in all those years. As much as I want one, there really is no reason to do it. Because you know if they did they would have really bad cameo appearances in just like Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
BTW I suggest that all fans of the movie sit back and watch this video because as much as you will want to hate it will wind up leaving with you a big smile on your face!

Frankie Muniz went to the Melanie Segal’s Red Cross Prepare LA Trend Lounge In Celebration Of The MTV Movie Awards yesterday and the Malcolm in the Middle star seems to have a great appreciation for something women like to wear on the middle of their bodies. Agent Cody Banks was caught spying on a thong at the event, and after the way he is playing with it I really hope they gave them panties to take home with him. You know because I can’t think of lady who would want to wear them after the way he is handling them. Well that is unless he was there teenage crush and that is the closest they will ever get to getting him go down them???
Could you imagine Footloose without Kevin Bacon? Well according the actor, who is six degrees from every actor in Hollywood, that was almost the case. He told Details magazine, “Craig Zadan, one of the producers on both films (referring to the sh!tty remake that’s coming out in the fall), actually found my screen test in a vault and sent it to me. What had been going on back then was the producers and the director wanted me, but the head of the studio famously said, ‘He’s just not fuckable.’ So they went and did their own screen test. Watching it, I got a chance to see this kid with this hunger and ambition and energy. There were parts of myself that I didn’t even recognize. You could just see that I was going to fuckin’ go in there and kill it.” Thankfully he nailed the screen test because he is the only actor that I could ever see playing Ren McCormack.
BTW according to Rob Lowe’s must read autobiography Stories I Only Tell My Friends, he auditioned for the role, but he blew his knew and the audition when he attempted that infamous slide that Bacon perfected!
Let the Good Times Roll because it is time once again to Drive with The Cars. The band has recorded their first album in 24 years and Move Like This will be out in May. After watching Blue Tip, the first music video from the album I can’t wait to buy the CD because it was Just What I Needed. They sound just like they did in the ’80s, but better. Too bad we can ‘t see what they look like, but I guess that is the Magic of that video…
