Geffen Records is working with Sony to modernize The Partridge Family and bring it back to TV according to Variety.
Details surrounding the scripted remake are thin, but insiders said the show will take a tongue-in-cheek, modern-day approach to the original series.
Idea to revive “Partridge Family” came from discussions between Fair and Reveille managing director Howard Owens on ways they could develop a family show centered around the music business.
“We decided to take a shot at acquiring the original rights and resurrecting the show with a new spin,” Fair said.
You would think after the failed MTV search for the next Partridge Family that this concept would not be happening, but I guess they believe in the expression “If at first you don’t succeed. Try, try again.”

Henry Winkler, one of the nicest guys in Hollywood was honored in Milwaukee today with a bronze statue of the character that made him a household name…The Fonz!!! If anyone in Hollywood deserved this honor it is him and I am glad he was there to unveil it!!! I just wish it looked more like him when he was The Fonz on Happy Days!

Susan Olsen aka Cindy Brady from The Brady Bunch blogged on her MySpace what really happened when she was interviewed by a radio station 107.9 in Colorado and had to leave because she was hugnover. She goes to say that they didn’t inform her that they would be videotaping her and her son during the interview. She also said that she was feeling a migraine coming on, and I know when you have one of those coming on it could totally make you hurl. I feel bad that they took advantage of her like that, so that is why I posted this to help her get her side of the story out there!
