Ashton Kutcher didn’t only play a tech mogul on Two and a Half Men, he is one in real life. So when one of the Sharks needed some time off from
Shark Tank, the producers thought he would be the perfect Shark to swim in their water. That’s right, he going to sit on the panel and offer up his own money if he likes what he hears from the entrepreneurs.
In case you don’t know how successful he is outside of acting, here are some of the companies he as invested in in the past. Ron Burkle, Guy Oseary and him created the venture fund A-Grade investments in 2011 and invested in Airbnb, Spotify, Uber, Flipboard, SoundCloud, Foursquare, Shazam and Houzz. Then last year Oseary and him founded Sound Ventures and helped to fund Pager, Handy, Meerkat, Zenefits, Classpass and more. I don’t know about you, but I think that proves he is more than qualified for the job,
In fact, I hope that Mark Burnett is auditioning Kutcher for another show he does called The Celebrity Apprentice. How amazing would he be to replace The Donald? I’d tune in every week. Plus, imagine the celebrities that would jump at the chance to be in his boardroom?
Back to Shark Tank, Ashton is not the only guest Shark who is going to appear on the show this season. Chris Sacca, Former Google Exec, Venture Capitalist and Tech Veteran, and Troy Carter, Entertainment Mogul, Branding Expert and Investor, are also slated to appear on the show.
