Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper have been friends since the ’90s, but the CNN host didn’t like him at first. In fact, he told Stephen Colbert yesterday on The Late Show that when they first met, he “really wanted nothing to do with him.”
So, how did they become friends? They were set up on a blind date (that didn’t happen) by mutual friends. And as time went on, the two men kept hanging out with those mutual friends on vacations and such.
The more time they spent together, the more Cooper “found he [Cohen] is actually a wonderful person and the life of the party.”
Cohen didn’t like the use of the word “actually,” so he responded with, “And I found you are actually more lifelike than you appear.”
And that caused Cooper to do that adorable giggle that he does.
