They found a way to make Jacob Elordi ugly
October 26th, 2025 under Jacob Elordi. [ Comments: none ]

Jacob Elordi is a pretty boy, and that is the type of roles he usually gets. That is, until he was cast in Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein. Now, the good-looking leading lady’s man is anything but.

Oscar-winning director Guillermo del Toro adapts Mary Shelley’s classic tale of Victor Frankenstein, a brilliant but egotistical scientist who brings a creature to life in a monstrous experiment that ultimately leads to the undoing of both the creator and his tragic creation.

Does he have the chops to play the man made of many men? We will find out on November 7th on Netflix.

Frankie Jonas is the cheese curds to his brothers
October 26th, 2025 under Buffalo Wild Wings, Jonas Brothers. [ Comments: none ]

Even though we know that Jonas Brothers as a trio, there is a fourth one, Frankie, Kevin, Joe, and Nick rarely include their baby brother, but they did for a recent Buffalo Wild Wings commercial they shot.

The Jonai helped the restaurant promote their new Buffalo Wild Wings Ultimate Sampler, which includes four of their appetizers of your choice, just like their four brothers.

“The new Ultimate Sampler lets guests choose four of their favorite fan-favorite apps, perfect for sharing with friends, family, or global music icons. And luckily, having a fourth Jonas Brother makes it easy to decide who gets to pick the last appetizer,” said Tristan Meline, Chief Marketing Officer, Buffalo Wild Wings.

You can choose from fried pickles, beer batter onion rings, everything pretzel knots, mozzarella sticks, ultimate nachos, cheddar cheese curds, and so much more. There is so much to pick from, four is not enough.

The Victorious spinoff spins over to Netflix
October 24th, 2025 under Dan Schneider. [ Comments: none ]

Now that Paramount is under new management, they are passing on Nickelodeon’s biggest spinoffs to Netflix. Well, at least that is the case with the Victorious spinoff, Hollywood Arts, about Tori’s older sister, Trina.

In this all-new series, struggling actress Trina Vega (Daniella Monet) returns to her former high school, Hollywood Arts, as an unqualified substitute teacher, quickly finding herself both clashing with and unexpectedly inspiring a new generation of ambitious and talented students as they learn to find their true path at Hollywood’s most elite performing arts school.

Daniella Monet said, “Coming back as Trina alongside such a dynamic, powerful cast of newcomers (Alyssa Miles, Emmy Liu-Wang, Peyton Jackson, Erika Swayze, and Martin Kamm) is something I feel very lucky and grateful to do. Victorious was in a lot of ways life changing for all of us, our cast is forever bonded by that experience, and to think that I have an opportunity to steward anything close to that is a feeling I can’t begin to describe. As an actress, producer, and mom, I am so eager to create something we can all be proud to share with the world.”

I would be more excited for this series if Dan Schneider were involved because none of the spinoff movies or TV shows have been as close to good since he is no longer part of them.

The 26 episodes will debut next year.
