The CW is saying goodbye to its last pre-Nexstar scripted show
June 2nd, 2025 under The CW. [ Comments: none ]

Three years ago, Nexstar bought controlling rights of The CW and cancelled almost all of their scripted shows. One of the shows that survived the bloodbath was All American. In fact, it is the last show standing.

However, it will not be standing for much longer because The CW announced today that it will be back for an eighth and final season. Thus, ending the original CW’s scripted run.

Commenting on the long-running series ALL AMERICAN executive producer Nkechi Okoro Carroll said, “How do I condense into just a few words what would be the longest love letter to this show, the fans, the cast, crew, staff, and producers. My heart is so filled with love and gratitude for everyone who helped bring ALL AMERICAN to life and kept it going for its historic run. It is so hard to say goodbye to the thing that you love, but we are so excited we get to do it in the way we envisioned with this final season. Thank you to Brad Schwartz, Channing Dungey, Brett Paul, and Greg Berlanti for supporting our vision. Thank you to the many executives at Warner Bros Discovery, CW and Berlanti Productions who have been a supportive part of the ALL AMERICAN huddle since day one. Thank you to our OG and new generation cast members, our writers, crew and full staff for raising the bar every episode. Thank you to Spencer Paysinger, whose life inspired this epic journey. And thank you to everyone who not only watched the show, but took Spencer James’s mantra of ‘Dream Big. Stay Real’ to heart and were inspired to chase their seemingly impossible dreams. We see you. We salute you. Here’s to leaving it all on the field one last time.”

The final 13 episodes will air in 2026.

Alec Baldwin posted one of the dumbest videos I’ve ever seen
June 2nd, 2025 under Alec Baldwin. [ Comments: none ]

I spend every day watching TikTok, so I have seen a lot of videos. However, none as dumb as the one Hilaria and Alec Baldwin posted.

People have been saying that Hilaria controls her husband like a puppet, so they wanted to prove it.

The actor sat in a chair, as his wife stood over him on a chair, holding two spoons as if she was controlling him like a marionette.

The video is stupid, but what makes it one of the dumbest is Alec’s face.

To me, this shows they need to keep to scripted material because they are not funny. I have a feeling Hilaria came up with the idea, she should stick to something she is better at…getting pregnant.

Everybody wants to know when Nobody Wants This will be back
June 2nd, 2025 under Kristen Bell. [ Comments: none ]

Nobody Wants This was a surprise hit, especially with that ending. So, fans have been wanting to know when it will be back for a second season.

Netflix is kissing and telling when the show will be back, and it is October 23rd. However, they are not making us yentas happy and dropping any hints about what we can expect.

So here is how they described the first one: An agnostic podcast host and an unconventional rabbi on the rebound walk into a party. When they walk out — together — the unlikely pair, Joanne (Kristen Bell) and Noah (Adam Brody), can tell there is something between them. But also potentially between them, with their differing outlooks on life, all of the modern obstacles to love, and their sometimes well-meaning, sometimes sabotaging families — including her sister Morgan (Justine Lupe) and his brother Sasha (Timothy Simons).

You can stream those episodes on Netflix. If you didn’t see it, now is the perfect time for you to do so.

Gen V’s sophomore season is going to be lit
June 1st, 2025 under Prime Video. [ Comments: none ]

Prime Video released a first look at Gen V’s sophomore season, and I hate that we have to wait until September 17th to watch those episodes.

Here is the synopsis: “School is back in session. As the rest of America adjusts to Homelander’s iron fist, back at Godolkin University, the mysterious new Dean preaches a curriculum that promises to make students more powerful than ever. Cate and Sam are celebrated heroes, while Marie, Jordan, and Emma reluctantly return to college, burdened by months of trauma and loss. But parties and classes are hard to care about with war brewing between Humans and Supes, both on and off campus. The gang learns of a secret program that goes back to the founding of Godolkin University that may have larger implications than they realize. And, somehow, Marie is a part of it.”

How good does that sound and look?
