CBS had a hit on their hands with Watson before it aired because Morris Chestnut plays a beloved, legendary character. Therefore, it makes sense that CBS would pick it up for a second season.

Watson takes place six months after Sherlock Holmes’ death at the hands of Moriarty (Randall Pack). Dr. John Watson (Chestnut), who’s back to practicing medicine and running a clinic for rare disorders. But Watson’s past isn’t done with him yet—he and Moriarty are about to dive into the next chapter of the story that’s fascinated fans for over a century.

I have to admit that it took me a few episodes to get into it. But it finally found its footing, and now it is the first Sunday show I watch to see what medical mystery they will solve.

CBS cancels After Midnight after Taylor Tomlinson quits
March 26th, 2025 under CBS. [ Comments: none ]

CBS secretly picked up After Midnight for a third season. However, they announced today that it has been cancelled.

Why? Host Taylor Tomlinson decided to walk away from the show.

She wrote: “Being the host of After Midnight for the past two seasons was the experience of a lifetime and I am so lucky I got the chance to be at part of this show. As a touring comic, I never thought I would be able to host a daily show like this and it’s because of the incredible @M team that it was possible for me to do so as long as I did. That said, juggling touring and hosting the show has become unsustainable, and I’ve made the difficult decision to step away so I can focus on stand up. After Midnight has pushed me to new limits, taught me countless lessons and skills, and allowed me to work with some of the greatest people I’ve ever met. I’m very sad but excited to finish out season 2 strong. Thank you to every single person who has a part in this show, I am forever grateful.”

The game/talk show will air new episodes through June. Then, CBS will give that hour back to the affiliates.

When it comes to After Midnight, she was never the right host. She spent the first season trying to get comfortable hosting, and the second, well, did anyone watch to find out if she got any better?

After two seasons, only one clip went viral. And that is sad.

But not as sad as all of the people who are out of work because of her.

Can Yeardly Smith draw Lisa Simpson?

Yeardly Smith has been voicing Lisa Simpson for 38 years. So, you would think that she would be able to draw her. Can she do it?

The actress posted a video of her attempting to draw her Simpsons character and shared it with us.

How did it go? Smashingly! At least for me, because we got to hear what it sounds like if Lisa cursed! I love that!

While Hank Azaria sings Bruce Springsteen in his different Simpsons voices, Smith lets us hear the adult version of the perpetual 8-year-old!

When it comes to her drawing! I think she did a great job. It looks just like her, and I don’t care what anyone says.

Here is the trailer for Rust
March 26th, 2025 under Alec Baldwin. [ Comments: none ]

via People

If Rust were any other Western movie, it would’ve gone straight to streaming. However, it is not.

It is known as the movie where Alec Baldwin accidentally shot cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set as they were prepping for a scene in October 2021.

At that moment, the film should’ve been shelved permanently. Instead, the hubris of the people in charge decided to finish the film and plan on releasing it on May 2nd.

Today, they released the trailer, and it contains numerous troubling moments.

One guy says, “Gd bless the wicked.” I would say it is the wicked who are releasing Rust.

Another one says, “They continue to pay my bills.” I think it is greed which is why.

Then you hear Baldwin say, “Some things in this life you can’t give back, I reckon.” I reckon like, Hutchins’ life.

Finally, there is the description of the movie: In 1880s Kansas, recently orphaned Lucas McCalister (Patrick Scott McDermott) accidentally kills a rancher and is sentenced to hang. In a twist of fate, his estranged grandfather, the notorious outlaw Harland Rust (Academy Award nominee Alec Baldwin), breaks him out of jail and takes him on the run toward Mexico. As they flee across the unforgiving wilderness, the fugitive pair must outrun the determined U.S. Marshal Wood Helm (Josh Hopkins) and a ruthless bounty hunter named “Preacher” (Travis Fimmel).

“Accidentally kills a rancher,” need I say more.

There is so much poor taste going around with actually releasing it, I can’t put in the correct words. So, I will leave it with the last line from the trailer, Baldwin says, “Heaven ain’t waiting on neither one of us.”
