Fun fact: Sean Baker created the raunchy comedy series, Greg the Bunny. To me, that is the true Cinderella story. Once you watch it, especially the episodes that did not air on Fox, you will understand why I say that!
Cynthia Erivo opened the Oscars by singing Home from The Wiz and Defying Gravity with Ariana Grande from their nominated and should’ve won movie Wicked. Their performance gave us chills, including Grande singing Over the Rainbow from The Wizard of Oz.
As the show went on, both actresses lost in their categories, which felt like the work of the Wizard of Oz and Madame Morrible. Since Jeff Goldblum and Michelle Yeoh were there and not nominated, I am even more convinced they did. They didn’t. I think?
Anyways, when the show was over, it was time for Elpeba, who missed out on the EGOT, to get some food. Where did she go? The line for In-n-Out was too long, so the actress went to Raising Cane’s and ate some yellow wands, which are also known as French Fries.
