On February 22nd, Drew Barrymore is going to turn the big 5-0! You know what that means? She will be old enough to be a member of AARP.
So, the nonprofit is wasting no time to make the actress the February/March cover girl for their magazine. Today, on The Drew Barrymore Show, Brooke Shields revealed her old friend’s cover, and Drew could not be more excited.
And that is not the only thing she is excited about. The talk show host told AARP, “It can’t come soon enough. I feel like Frodo [in The Lord of the Rings]. I see that brass ring and I’m so excited! I have no issues with aging—this is the happiest I’ve been in my life.”
While she might be the happiest she has ever been, Gen X is not. They are feeling the growing pains of their celebrities being old enough to promote being 50+.
I am old-fashioned. I love to get a dozen roses for Valentine’s Day. However, this year, I want my man to give me a dozen donuts from Krispy Kreme (and roses).
The donut shop is selling four donuts for the day that belongs to lovers, and they all sound delicious.
You Make My Daisy Doughnut: an unglazed heart doughnut filled with white Kreme™, dipped in strawberry flavored icing, drizzled with yellow icing and topped with a daisy candy piece.
Love You Bunches Doughnut: an unglazed heart doughnut filled with Chocolate Kreme™, dipped in red icing, drizzled with green stems and topped pink and red confectionery curls.
Blooming Heart Doughnut: an unglazed heart doughnut filled with Cookies & Kreme™ filling, dipped in purple icing and sprinkled with hearts in bloom sprinkles.
You Are My Sunshine Doughnut: an unglazed heart doughnut filled with caramel flavored Kreme™, dipped in chocolate icing, drizzled with a green stem and topped with a sunflower candy piece.
They say the way to a person’s heart is through their stomach, and you can have my heart if you get these to my stomach.
The Hearts in Bloom collection is available from today until February 14th.
As we know, Gabriel Macht played Harvey Specter on Suits, a man who loved his Whiskey. When Bear Fight Whiskey realized this, they asked him to be their creative partner.
However, I don’t think he was part of their creative meetings for their advertisements. I say that because the actor got beat up in their first commercial together.
They had a man in a bear suit fight him, and the director’s brother-in-law took his role seriously. So much so, first, he punched Macht in the mouth, causing him to lose a tooth. Then, the “bear” followed that up by tackling him in the chair, which led to him getting a concussion. For the final take, the grizzly climbed the rafters and planned on jumping on the star. But by this time, he was wise to what was going to happen next. So, he grabbed the bottle and headed to his trailer for safety.
I bet from now on, he will only work with actors in three-piece or birthday suits.
I would like to say that this is Macht’s toughest co-star, but I can’t. After all he did work with Meghan Markle for seven years.
Marc Summers went to see Johnny Mathis perform this weekend, and the Double Dare host shared a video of the 89-year-old singing his song Brazil.
Before Mathis started singing, he shook his butt for the audience, and they loved it! Because his old-school twerking is still entrancing. His voice is still something to marvel at. And his sideburns are still impressive!
He might be turning 90 in September, but he still has it!
Tim McGraw was going to play a bull rider in a drama series for Netflix, but he had to drop out.
According to Deadline, the singer underwent back surgery and needs time to recover. He also had orthopedic surgery on both knees in August.
The physically demanding series follows a megastar champion (McGraw) facing a life-or-death crossroads when confronted by the arrival of a fearless young rider whose very existence challenges his ways and unearths secrets that force him to reckon with his past.
Since McGraw is in such good shape, I am sure he will be better soon. He just might not be able to ride any bulls, including the mechanical ones.
When it comes to the show, its future is uncertain.
