I don’t cook or bake, but my best friend does both. So, I am always on the lookout for cookbooks for her and my nieces. You never know what interesting recipes are going to be in between the pages.
This Friday on the Roku Channel, we are going to see chefs compete in a cooking competition where they have to cook up something from a cookbook in Clash of the Cookbooks.
Join comedian Phoebe Robinson and cookbook author and culinary historian Max Miller as they put cookbook-obsessed chefs to the test with legendary cookbook-inspired challenges. Cookbooks are the cornerstone of how the average person has learned to cook for hundreds of years, testing the technical and creative skills of home cooks. In this competition, chefs from across the country take recipes from the page to the plate by cooking from history’s greatest and the world’s toughest cookbooks.
Who knows, maybe you will find something you want to cook up. Or, in my case, something I will tell my friend to make for me. Which she never does.
For almost 100 years, Mickey Mouse has been kid friendly. However, things changed when Steamboat Willie went into public domain on the first of this year.
As soon as that happened, we found out there are several Horror movies being made about him.
The first one, The Mouse Trap, came out earlier this year. Surprisingly, it was not that bad.
The next one is Mouse of Horrors, and we are getting the first look at the film. MoH is about a group of friends who get trapped at an amusement park and strike out an attempt to survive against a mutated rat known as The Killer.
If this is what they are doing to Mickey, imagine what they are going to do to Minnie Mouse, who is also in public domain.
It is Christmastime, and that means it is time for families to take photos for their holiday cards. So, Eric Winter took his kids, Sebella and Dylan, to JC Penney’s for a portrait session.
The three did all the classic poses! And by the end of it, they had a photo album of pictures to enjoy and share with their loved ones, including his wife, Roselyn Sanchez!
I am sure she is so upset she was not able to be there. But at least she has the photos to enjoy!
In 1999, Martin Lawrence and Eddie Murphy were sentenced to Life together. However, that was only for the movie.
In real life, their children are going to sentence them to life together as in-laws. That is because Eric Murphy proposed to Jasmin Lawrence on November 27th, and that will make both of them the father-in-law to the other one’s child.
The betrothed couple broke the news on social media and wrote, “We’re engaged!! God truly blessed us with a love that feels like destiny. We couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter ❤️❤️”
Congrats to the comedic actors! Holiday gatherings just got even funnier!
