Before Sonja Sohn was the Deputy Director of the GBI on Will Trent, she was dating a Philadelphia detective on Cold Case. How beautiful was the 34-year-old in that 2007 episode?
My friend and I have a joke about how Jeopardy smart we are. She says she is Celebrity Jeopardy smart, and I tell her I am Elementary School Jeopardy smart. However, those fifth graders are smarter than me. So I could be wrong.
Anyways, in a few months, we can say we are Pop Culture Jeopardy smart. That is because Prime Video is launching a Jeopardy that is all about Pop Culture.
Pop Culture Jeopardy! is a brand-new twist on the classic quiz show’s “answer-and-question” format that combines the academic rigor of Jeopardy! with the excitement and unpredictability of pop culture. Contestants, playing in teams of three, will need to be experts in categories from Alternative Rock to The Avengers; Broadway to MMA; Gen Z to Zendaya as they compete in a tournament-style event for the grand prize and ultimate bragging rights.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to collaborate with our partners at Amazon to make Prime Video the home for our new Jeopardy! spinoff series,” said Suzanne Prete, President, Game Shows, Sony Pictures Television. “With Michael Davies at the helm, Pop Culture Jeopardy! is going to be a nail biter for game show enthusiasts who can expect to see teams competing at the highest level of Jeopardy! combined with a fresh twist of pop culture Olympics for the mind…it’s going to be a must-watch for long-time viewers and new fans alike.”
What is, I will be watching!
Another thing I will be watching on Prime Video is The Boys, season 5. That is right, the Superhero series was picked up for another season before this one starts streaming on June 13th.
That is not all. Elle Woods is back with a Legally Blonde prequel series.
Elle follows Elle Woods in high school as we learn about the life experiences that shaped her into the iconic young woman we came to know and love in the first Legally Blonde film.
“I truly couldn’t be more excited about this series! Fans will get to know how Elle Woods navigated her world as a teenager with her distinct personality and ingenuity, in ways that only our beloved Elle could do. What could be better than that?! I’m extremely grateful to the incredible teams at Prime Video and Hello Sunshine – along with our amazing writer Laura Kittrell – for making this dream of mine come true. Legally Blonde is back!,” said Reese Witherspoon.
Finally, Prime Video announced which celebrities are competing on Are You Smarter Than Celebrity? Travis Kelce will be finding out if the contestants are smarter than comedians Nikki Glaser, Natasha Leggero, Nicole Byer, and Ron Funches; Thursday Night Football analyst Ryan Fitzpatrick; former NFL wide receiver Chad Ochocinco; Real Housewife of Beverly Hills’ Garcelle Beauvais; Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent; podcaster Sophia Stallone; and actress and producer Lilly Singh.
I am beginning to think that ABC wants to fail because their Fall lineup sucks.
They are holding Will Trent, The Rookie, and The Conners’ final season for midseason so that they can air the aging Dancing with the Stars and The Golden Bachelorette, which might take a hit due to what happened to The Golden Bachelor’s marriage. You know, it ended in divorce.

It has been 11 years since David Beckham stopped playing with balls professionally. However, his golden balls are still wanted, not only by his wife, Victoria Beckham, but also by several chicks.
Should Posh Spice be worried? Not at all, because those chicks are their farm’s chickens! And they follow him around like he is the Pied Piper.
Just when you think he can’t get any cuter, he posts a video like this.
Grey’s Anatomy is coming back in the Fall for its 21st season, but at least one doctor won’t be around for the season finale.
Jake Borelli will be checking out after seven years. However, he will most likely appear in several episodes to wrap up Levi Schmitt’s storyline.
While he is officially leaving, Deadline is reporting that the large cast will most likely see a reduction in their episode counts. This is a tactic the networks use to save money. And with Grey’s getting older and their ratings down, they don’t have the budget they used to have. So I wouldn’t be surprised if a few more actors will be departing the series in the near future.
Who would you like to see stay, and who would you like to see say goodbye?
