CBS’s Fall premiere dates are here
August 3rd, 2023 under CBS. [ Comments: none ]

Due to the Writers’ and Actors’ strikes, Fall TV is going to look a lot different than we thought. CBS changed up their plans and went unscripted and repeat heavy. And today, we found out when those shows are going to air.

Hopefully, AMPTP and the Guilds will get back to the negotiation table soon and come up with a deal. Because these Fall schedules suck. And not in a good way.

DIcks: The Musical isn’t what I was expecting
August 3rd, 2023 under Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman. [ Comments: none ]

When I saw there was a movie coming out called Dicks: The Musical, I was hoping it would be about singing penises. But it is not.

Instead, it is about two business adversaries (Josh Sharp and Aaron Jackson) who realize they’re identical twin brothers and decide to switch places to reunite their divorced parents (Nathan Lane and Megan Mullally) so they all can become an actual family again.

The musical also stars Bowen Yang and Megan Thee Stallion. It looks like the singer could have a career in acting if she decides to give up singing.

Dicks: The Muscial cums out September 29th.

Will Ticketmaster be able to handle selling more Taylor Swift tickets?
August 3rd, 2023 under Taylor Swift. [ Comments: none ]

Taylor Swift loves being on the road so much that she just added 15 more dates in four cities to her Eras tour. Those shows are scheduled for next October and November of next year after she finishes the European leg of her tour.

Hopefully, Ticketmaster will be able to handle the demand this time. Because you don’t want to mess with a pissed-off person from Toronto.

You register to get tickets from today until August 5th on TaylorSwift.com.

A mini-Taxi reunion
August 3rd, 2023 under Danny DeVito, Taxi. [ Comments: none ]

It has been 41 years since Taxi ended its run, but the cast still likes hanging out with one another. Case in point Carole Kane, Danny DeVito, and Tony Danza got together to see their friend Rhea Perlman in her Off-Broadway show Let’s Call Her Patty.

I have a theory that the reason why some series last in syndication for so long, like Taxi, is because the cast sincerely gets along. The viewers can feel their chemistry, and that is why we enjoy watching. And that is why we are still watching their sitcom after all of these decades. That, and because it was absolutely brilliant and hilarious.
