Shannen Doherty has filed for divorce from her third husband, Kurt Iswarienko, and it is ugly.
Her rep, Leslie Sloane, told TMZ, “Divorce is the last thing Shannen wanted. But, unfortunately, she felt she was left with no other option. You can contact Kurt’s agent, Collier Grimm at PICTUREKID as she is intimately involved.”
The estranged couple did not have a prenup, so the actress, who is battling stage 4 breast cancer, asked that she get spousal support and her ex get nothing. Hopefully, she gets it all.
They met in 2008, married in 2011, and had no kids. She was previously married to Ashley Hamilton and Rick Salomon, while he was married to Charles Band’s daughter Taryn.
Throughout all of these years that Ryan Seacrest has been hosting shows, I have never seen him with a full beard. Stubble, yes. Beard, no.
However, yesterday on American Idol, he showed off his new long thick beard in honor of American Idol contestant Warren Peay.
Who knew he could grow a lot of facial hair? He can’t because that is fake. So do you think he should try to grow a beard? Or do we like him just the way he is?
Len Goodman passed away in a Kent hospice on Saturday from bone cancer. This was his third bout with a cancer. He previously survived prostate cancer and melanoma.
His manager, Jackie Gill, told BBC News, “It is with great sadness to announce that Len Goodman has passed away peacefully, aged 78.
“A much loved husband, father and grandfather who will be sorely missed by family, friends and all who knew him.”
We in the States knew him as the Head Judge on Dancing with the Stars, but over in England, he had that title first on Strictly Come Dancing, which he a staple on until 2016.
The beloved judge was known for being brutally honest, but you could tell his comments were coming from a good place. He was like the grumpy grandfather that you couldn’t help but to love. Especially with his warm and endearing smile.
You can feel that love with the statement that Bruno Tonioli wrote about his friend and co-judge on both shows: “Heartbroken my dear friend and partner for 19 years the one and only ballroom legend #lengoodman passed away I will treasure the memory of our incredible adventures and hundreds of shows we did together @bbcstrictly @dancingwiththestars they will never be anyone like you we will miss you.”
Goodman appeared on all but two seasons of Dancing with the Stars and announced his retirement in November so that he could spend more time with his family.
And now, less than six months later, we are saying goodbye to a man that was loved on both sides of the pond.
So today, put on some music and dance in his honor. And then make a paddleboard with a 10 on it. This way, we can send up to heaven with a perfect score.
Goodman is survived by his wife, Sue Barrett, his son James from a previous relationship, and at least one grandchild.
Eric Braeden announced yesterday on social media that he has cancer.
The 82-year-old actor started out his video talking about the knee replacement surgery he got at the beginning of the year. While he was dealing with the recovery, he started having prostate problems. At first, he couldn’t stop peeing. And then he couldn’t pee at all.
His urologist said that he should get a Urolift to help with his urinary problems. But it turns out that was not the only problem he was having in that area. When his doctors sent a camera up his penis, they found a tumor that turned out to be malignant.
So the doctor decided that when they did the Urolift, they would also remove the tumor.
The doctor thought he got it all, but it turns out that the Young and the Restless star still had some high-grade cancer cells left in his body.
So the doctor decided to fight the cancer with a 6-week immunotherapy treatment. Basically, they put a liquid in his bladder, and it tricks the body into fighting off the high-grade cancer cells. The treatment causes the actor to feel run down, and that is a good thing. That means the treatment is working.
So far, he has done two treatments. It has slowed him down, but it hasn’t stopped him. So he is still working on the Soap Opera while he battles cancer.
Because as he says, “I will lick this. This bastard ain’t going to get me. I am going to get it. And I will be in top form again soon.”
Just like his character Victor Newman. Nothing can stop him.
