Jada Pinkett Smith talks about Oscar night
June 1st, 2022 under Will Smith. [ Comments: none ]

Jada Pinket Smith released a new episode of Red Table Talk today on Facebook, and it was important for her because they talk about the impact of alopecia on men, women, children, and herself.

The actress started the episode with this message, “This is a really important Red Table Talk on alopecia. Considering what I’ve been through with my own health and what happened at the Oscars, thousands have reached out to me with their stories. I’m using this moment to give our alopecia family an opportunity to talk about what it’s like to have this condition and to inform people about what alopecia actually is.

“Now, about Oscar night, my deepest hope is that these two intelligent, capable men have an opportunity to heal, talk this out and reconcile,” she said. “The state of the world today, we need them both. And we all actually need one another more than ever. Until then, Will and I are continuing to do what we have done for the last 28 years, and that’s keep figuring out this thing called life together. Thank you for listening.”

And yet, there is no explanation about what happened between Will Smith and her, nor did she apologize.

However, I respect her for getting the word out about alopecia and its effect on people. But, with a statement like that about Oscar night, she would have been better off keeping quiet.

Do you agree with this fan’s theory about Stranger Things?
June 1st, 2022 under Netflix. [ Comments: none ]

Over the weekend, a record amount of us spent the weekend watching new episodes of Stranger Things on Netflix. And there were a lot of fans who have their theories about what is going to happen next.

Those fans took to social media with their ideas, Vanity Fair took those theories, and they asked Joe Keery (Steve), Natalia Dyer (Nancy), Maya Hawke (Robin), and Joseph Quinn (Eddie Munson) to tell us what they think about the fanfic.

Out of all of the theories, my favorite one is that the core characters are playing a game of Dungeon & Dragons as adults. It is especially more telling because they played the game this season. Therefore, I can totally see that being the case.

I also like Quinn’s questioning about who would play who in the future, our present. I agree that Bill Hader should play Finn, and Natalie Portman would be great as Eleven. I think that Dulé Hill would be a great Lucas, Josh Gad as Dustin, Jessica Chastain would be a great Max, and Ryan Reynolds as Will.

When it comes to Eddie, I think he looks and acts like Treat Willaims in Hair and sounds like Jason Bateman, so either can play him. Who would you cast as their future/present selves?

Ron Howard is still skipping after all of these years
June 1st, 2022 under Brangelina, Ron Howard. [ Comments: none ]

Back in the ’60s, Ron Howard was skipping on The Andy Griffith Show. Now that he is in his 60s, he is still skipping, but for a different reason. His granddaughter wants to do it, so he is going to do it because he says, “Experience tells me to enjoy it while it lasts!”

Howard is so right. He might be an Oscar-winning director, but he is a grandfather first. You have to cherish those special moments with the grandkids because they don’t last forever. But the memories do.
