Anthony Anderson was one of the two actors who reprised his role in the revival of Law & Order on NBC. However, after one season, Deadline says that he is moving on from the show, and will not be back in the Fall.
However, the actor will still be on television sets. Anderson and his mom are doing a travel series for E!. He just won’t go away.
Paramount+ announced that this upcoming season of The Good Fight will be the series’ last one. It is the legal drama’s 6th season and the franchise’s 13th. The Good Wife, the show it spun off of, aired for 7 seasons on CBS.
“We’ve LOVED fighting ‘The Good Fight’ these last six seasons. To be able to tell stories about an upside-down world in real time has been a gift. And to have worked with these talented, brilliant, generous actors, writers and crew has been a blessing,” said Robert and Michelle King, series co-creators, showrunners, and executive producers. “Our hope-slash-scheme is to find ways to work with all of them again in the future.”
Before the Kings get to work with them again, they have to finish filming this last season. What can we expect in their farewell season? The press release says, “Diane feeling like she’s going crazy, struggling with an uneasy sense of déjà vu, with everything from Roe v. Wade, to voting rights, to Cold War aggressions returning. Meanwhile, the lawyers of Reddick & Associates wonder if the violence that they see all around them points to an impending civil war.”
The final 10 episodes begin streaming on September 8th.
Let’s be honest after Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull; there was no reason to continue the franchise. However, they made a fifth movie, and it is coming on June 30, 2023. Are you going to see it when it comes out? I don’t think I can do it after they nuked the fridge.
Before Ray Liotta was a big movie star, he started on the Soap Opera Another World. You can tell the 26-year-old was bound to be a star after watching him in those 1981 episodes.
