Is Michael Rapaport allowed to do that on daytime television?
March 1st, 2022 under Wendy Williams. [ Comments: none ]

Michael Rapaport is hosting the Wendy Williams Show this week. Today, he showed off his dancing movies, and I am not sure that Standards and Practices will be happy with them. That is because they were less like the dancing you do vertically and more like the grinding you do horizontally.

While the censors might not like it, I am sure the female audience does.

Also, today, the daytime talk show announced who will be hosting this month. Kym Whitley and Finesse Mitchell start it off on Monday, and for the following three weeks, it will be Fat Joe & Remy Ma, then Sherri Shepherd, and finally Carson Kressley and Vivica A. Fox.

Joey King is engaged!
March 1st, 2022 under Joey King. [ Comments: none ]

Joey King might not have the happily ever after in her romantic movies like The Kissing Booth and The In Between. But in real life, things are going much better for her love life.

The actress announced today that she is engaged to Steven Piet. “I never knew happiness could be so powerful that it can take the air from your lungs, overwhelming every part of you that you can’t help but feel your eyes well from the undeniable joy. I never knew that a persons presence and heart could feel like a real home. I never knew love could be so unquestionably beautiful. I never knew until you,” she wrote. “The date was 2/2/22 when you asked me to marry you and made me the luckiest lady alive. I love you more than an Instagram caption could ever do justice. Hanging out with you forever sounds like a real dream, so let’s do it.”

The couple met when he produced and directed the series The Act, in which she starred. They started dating shortly after that.

Is Debbie Gibson really 51?
March 1st, 2022 under Are they really their age?, Debbie Gibson/ Tiffany. [ Comments: none ]

Debbie Gibson sang about Electric Youth in the ’80s, and she still has it. So, when the 51-year-old heard Whitney Houston’s How Will I Know on the speaker at the mall, she couldn’t help but to sing and dance to it. However, she stopped when she thought other people were looking at her.

If it were arch-nemesis Tiffany, then it would have been a different story. If Tiffany were to sing and dance at a mall, everyone would join in like it was 1988 all over again. They would all be thinking they were alone with her, living out their ’80s dream!

Now, back to Gibson. I am sure there are plenty of men who would love to shake their love with her in those short shorts. Gotta love that she is over 50 and can still rock those Daisy Dukes. She never ages, so it is hard to believe she has been doing this for 35 years. Can you like believe it?

Hallmark Channel is already getting into the Christmas spirit
March 1st, 2022 under Hallmark. [ Comments: none ]

MSG Entertainment

It has been two weeks since Valentine’s Day, so I guess it is time to get ready for Christmas. At least in the T.V. world.

Yesterday, Lifetime announced three of their holiday movies, and today Hallmark Channel did the same.

For the first time in Hallmark Channel’s history, they are doing a movie with the Rockettes, who are synonymous with Christmas in NYC. The hick-kicking dancers will be joined by Ann-Margaret, Eve Plumb, Ginna Claire Mason, and Derek Klena.

The story is set in 1958 when a Philadelphia heiress named Maggie (Mason) puts her high-society wedding plans, to a man she doesn’t love, on hold in order to sneak up to New York City and make her secret dream come true: dancing live on stage in the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall. While her family thinks she’s staying in New York City with an “approved” friend from boarding school, Maggie is living a completely different life than she’s ever known. She falls in love with New York and dancing with the Rockettes. Maggie soon feels caught between two worlds, made even more complicated by her chance encounter with young U.S. Navy photographer John (Klena). Will Maggie find the courage to tell her family?

According to that description, A Holiday Spectacular will live up to its name.

I just have one request for next year. Can we wait until after July Fourth to talk about Christmas? I love the holiday, but I need a little more of a break from it. Because mentioning this early is making me turn into an Ebeneezer Scrooge. Bah humbug.
