Prince Charles was in Staffordshire today for the opening of the National Memorial Arboretum to honor fallen police officers. It was a little rainy, so he and the other guests used umbrellas to keep themselves dry.
As soon as Boris Johnson opened his, it flipped open upside up. And then, he had problems getting it right side down. That caused everyone, including the future King of England, to laugh at him. Or should I say with him because even the Prime Minister laughed at what a clown he looked like?
What is up with these types of politicians who don’t know how to use umbrellas like Donald Trump and Johnson?
On Saturday, Kaito Streets was playing in his second fencing match at the 2020 Olympics. It is a dream come true for any athlete who trains for this chance. But his dream became a nightmare. His opponent Eli Dershwitz accidentally hit him on the medals.
And with that, he was down. But he is not out. He made TikTok rewatching the moment and let us know he is OK. Embarrassed, but OK.
In fact, he is doing so much better he was able to compete today.
I am sure he hates that this happened to him on the international stage. However, at least now, we will remember and talk about him for years to come. I say it is better to be remembered than to win.
Have you ever wondered who was the boss on Who’s the Boss? Was it Tony or Angela? Well, Alyssa Milano finally revealed who it is. It is Mona, like duh! I mean, the late great Katherine Helmond was the star of the show. There is no doubt about that.
Milano still spoke to Helmond until her passing in 2019. Who does she still talk to from Charmed? She says she only still speaks to Holly Marie Combs. As if we didn’t know that?
There is a new trailer out for Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story and there is no denying it is his movie.
There are some directors that when you see a movie of theirs, you know it is theirs without their name even being attached to it. They are directors like Quentin Tarantino, Martin Scorsese, Stephen Soderberg, Ron Howard, and Stephen Spielberg.
The latter brings a cheesiness to it, or maybe it is like a child’s hopefulness that he created with E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. It is his style, and he is bringing it, once again, to his first big screen musical.
I guess Cats isn’t looking so bad now after watching the trailer for WWS.
Are you going to see the Jets and the Sharks battle it on December 10th, or will you be too busy with your own story?
