Remember Meg Ryan?
June 17th, 2021 under Meg Ryan. [ Comments: none ]

I don’t know about you, but I do not remember the last time I saw Meg Ryan. Today, the actress shared some photos that Firooz Zahedi took of her, and she looks absolutely amazing.

In fact, the 59-year-old looks younger now than she has in the recent past. While the pandemic has been aging most of us, it has done the opposite for her. I wonder what her secret is? Maybe she finally got some sleep after being Sleepless in Seattle for so long.

Jason Derulo gets naked
June 17th, 2021 under Jason Derulo. [ Comments: none ]

Ever since we saw Jason Derulo in the black bathing suit, I have wanted to see him without it.

Today, he finally took it all off on TikTok, but sadly we didn’t get to see his TikTok. That is because he has a box over his blue balls.

Better luck next time!

RIP Frank Bonner
June 17th, 2021 under Obits. [ Comments: none ]

Frank Bonner passed away yesterday at the 79 from Lewy Body Dementia according to his daughter Desiree Boers-Kort.

Bonner is best known for playing the plaid-wearing, sleazy salesman Herb Tarlek who never stops flirting with Loni Anderson’s character on WKRP in Cincinnati. He will always be associated with the infamous Thanksgiving episode. However, I think his best episode was the one where they did a reality show with his family. It was so brilliant and ahead of its time, and it was because he was so believable in this episode that made it stand out.

He continued to act and had many great guest star roles throughout his career. He also worked behind the camera and directed several TV shows and movies, including every episode of TNBC’s City Guys.

Bonner will be remembered as a hard worker, loyal husband, and all-around fine person.

Today, let’s remember him by watching every episode of the timeless sitcom WKRP.

Lifetime is bringing back Highway to Heaven
June 17th, 2021 under Lifetime. [ Comments: none ]

Lifetime announced today that they will be doing movie specials as a sequel to the Highway to Heaven series. Jill Scott will play the angel, and Barry Watson will play a junior high school principal who helps her out.

“The original Highway to Heaven was appointment viewing for millions and in a time when we need those messages of hope the most, we are excited to bring back the iconic series in a new way,” said Tanya Lopez, Executive Vice President, Scripted Programming, Lifetime & LMN. “Having worked with Jill previously for some of Lifetime’s most celebrated movies, we know she is the perfect actor to bring her passion and brilliance to this role. I just love her…Jill amplifies everything she touches in ways that make her pop off the screen. And the addition of Barry was just icing on the cake. I believe we have assembled a dynamic new duo with both Jill and Barry at the helm.”

There is no f*cking way you could get me to do this. No way in hell. I believe the original is cursed because both Michael Landon and Victor French died young from short battles with cancer. French died in 1988, three months after being diagnosed with lung cancer. Landon died in 1991, less than three months after being told he had pancreatic cancer. I believe if you do a project that is too close to the reality of the afterlife, it will kill you. There was Poltergeist, Exorcist, Ghost, and Highway to Heaven, to name a few.

Seth Meyers fangirls over Ann-Margeret

Ann-Margeret is the type of woman who is gorgeous no matter how old she is? She has always been a beauty and will remain one as long as she walks this Earth. Therefore, you can understand why someone like Seth Meyers would be totally crushing on her ever since he was young.

Yesterday, he finally got the chance to interview her on his Late Night show. It was so cute to see the middle-aged host’s face turn into a little boy’s.

Even though he was totally fangirling over her, he was still professional and courteous to her. Unlike how some of the other late-night hosts would have handled it. When they do it, it is either annoying, creepy, or vomit-inducing.

It is moments like this why I say (after Conan O’Brien ends his run) that Meyers is the best host in late night. Not only is he the strongest interviewer, but he also has the best delivery during his monologue. He deserves more respect because he makes all the other hosts look like amateurs.
