Movie theaters will reopen up in Hollywood next week
March 12th, 2021 under Coronavirus, Movies. [ Comments: none ]

AMC Theaters

For a year, movie theaters have been closed in Hollywood and Los Angeles. But that is going to change next week because Governor Gavin Newsom gave them the go-ahead to reopen. However, they will only be able to operate at 25% capacity at first. 25% is better than nothing.

This news is a huge sigh of relief for movie execs because now they can release big-budget movies where they belong, on the big screen.

Do you feel comfortable going to the movies, or not yet? Until I get the vaccine, I don’t feel comfortable doing anything indoors outside of my house.

Before Cynthia Nixon was talking about sex with her friends on Sex and the City, she was already talking about it at camp in Little Darlings. How pretty was the 13-year-old in that 1980 coming of age movie?

March 11th, 2021 under American Horror Story. [ Comments: none ]

American Horror Story is finally filming its 10th season after many delays. Ryan Murphy is starting to drop hints about what its theme will be.

So far, we know that it is taking place on a coast. It is filming in Providence, Massachusetts. This season will star Kathy Bates, Finn Wittrock, Billie Lourd, Leslie Grossman, Adina Porter, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy, Angelica Ross, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, and Macaulay Culkin.

Today, Murphy gave us a better glimpse of what the evil is going to be. It looks like it will be Vampires. Although if they are going to be so close to Salem, you would think that they would have done witches again?

How I Met Josh Radnor the singer
March 11th, 2021 under How I Met Your Mother. [ Comments: none ]

We know Josh Radnor, the actor from How I Met Your Mother and Hunters. Soon we are also going to know him as a singer. That is because, on April 15th, he is releasing his first solo EP One More Then I’ll Let You Go.

“When I started playing guitar four years ago, songs exploded out of me. In addition to the ones I was writing with Ben [Lee], I was writing a few songs a week on my own. I asked Ryan to produce a record for me and he came over one afternoon to hear what I had written. It was an unreasonably long list of songs. At some point I sensed him needing to leave and I said ‘One more then I’ll let you go.’ He immediately said, ‘There’s your album title!’ We recorded between 15 and 17 songs over about a year a half, since I was navigating my other careers through all this as well as writing and recording with Radnor & Lee. These were the five songs we both felt really great about,” says Radnor.

Yesterday, he released The High Road, the first song from the EP. Now that we have heard the first tune off of the record, I cannot wait to hear the four.
