Jerry O’Connell and Rebecca Romijn host a night of at-home haircuts
May 21st, 2020 under Jerry O'Connell/Rebecca Romijn. [ Comments: none ]

CBS

People all over the world are being forced to let their perfect hairdos become hairdon’ts. That is because almost all of the hair salons are shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic. Since our hair has gone to great lengths, so have the people they are being quarantined with. As in, their roommates or loved ones are becoming at-home barbers.

Some have done a good job, and others are lucky they can’t go anywhere in public until it grows back. For the latter group, Jerry O’Connell and Rebecca Romijn are coming to the rescue. On May 29th, the married couple is hosting Haircutting Night in America on CBS.

Viewers can tune in to see some of the biggest hairstylists teach the O’Connells, Kelly Osbourne, Lindsey Vonn, P.K. Subban, and frontline healthcare workers how to give themselves the perfect hairstyle or dye job at home. We will watch them go from messy to a cleaned-up look. At least we hope so.

In between the snips, O’Connell and Romijn will show viral clips of other people becoming beauticians at home

Tune in for the hair raising special that will be a cut above the rest.

Valerie Bertinelli on why she hasn’t said this is it to the new One Day at a Time
May 21st, 2020 under Valerie Bertinelli. [ Comments: none ]

In 2017, Netflix remade One Day at a Time, and a few of the original stars like Mackenzie Phillips has guest-starred on the show. However, her younger TV sister, Valerie Bertinelli, has yet to make an appearance on the Pop TV show.

The actress sat down with Entertainment Weekly, and explained why that is the case. It is simple, nothing more than scheduling issues. They came close once, but it was too tight to work out. Since she hasn’t acted in the five years since Hot In Cleveland ended, she wants “to be able to really be there with them and soak it all in.”

The actress is hoping that when we all get back to work, she can work with them. She wants to do it because she said, “I really love all those great people behind the show. What they’ve done is really amazing. I want to do it so bad!”

I am sure they want her just as badly. Hopefully, they will make it work out! I would love to see her back on the show that made her famous.

Lori Loughlin to plead guilty, gets only two months of prison
May 21st, 2020 under Arrested. [ Comments: none ]

Just over a year ago, the world was shocked to learn that Lori Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, illegally used their wealth to get their daughters, Isabella Rose and Olivia Jade, into the University of Southern California. Ever since that announcement, they have said that they are innocent. Well, today they are singing a different tune. They have both decided to plead guilty to the charges, according to WBZ.

According to the press release from the Department of Justice in the District of Massachusetts, they will plead guilty on a to be determined date to U.S. District Court Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton. “Loughlin will plead guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud, while Giannulli will plead guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud and honest services wire and mail fraud.”

If the judge accepts the deal, then she will do two months in prison and he will do five months. Along with the prison time, she will “pay a $150,000 fine and two years of supervised release with 100 hours of community service.” While he will pay “a $250,000 fine and two years of supervised release with 250 hours of community service.”

Who else is screaming 🐂💩? Talk about white, rich privilege. Felicity Huffman pled guilty almost immediately and she got 12 days. This couple strung the courts along for 14 months, and they get a little more time than her. What happened to throwing the book at them?

The one thing that no matter what the judge rules, their careers are over. Last year, $400,000 did not seem like a lot of money to the couple, now it feels like millions and millions of dollars. She better hope that Full House stays in syndication for a long time. Which it will.

It will be interesting to see if the judge, will accept the deal. Especially because people are going to be very vocal about how unhappy they are that the couple is getting such a light sentence.
