For the last four episodes of Manifest, the show focused on the backstory of the people who were on flight 828. Tonight at 10p on NBC, we get to see what happened when the flight Michaela (Melissa Roxburgh) and Ben’s (Josh Dallas) family landed.
Their parents, his wife Grace (Melissa Roxburgh) and Olive (Luna Blaise) go to check the board to see when the other plane is going to land, only to be to told to come to the gate. For the next five years, they waited but life happened in between. You see how Michaela’s boyfriend and her best friend got together and eventually got married. How Grace met her boyfriend. And how Olive handled not being with her twin brother.
Talking about Cal (Jack Messina), we have not seen how being on that doomed flight affected him. Tonight we will. How will his father handle it? Because Ben wants nothing to do with the voices in his head. It is even worse now that he realizes his son can hear them too.
I know I keep saying this, but there is a reason this is the #1 new show of the fall, It is because it keeps getting better with each episode.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus was honored with the Mark Twain Prize for comedy at the Kennedy Center yesterday and several funny people came out to roast her. What do you do after a roast? You go out to eat a roast.
That is what she did with Jack Johnson, Tony Hale, Lisa Kudrow, Tina Fey and Keegan-Michael Key. Imagine the conversation they must have had together. Oh, to a be a fly in that soup. Although, that would hurt a lot.
Seriously, who do you think is the funniest person in that group. I am going with the singer because there has to be a reason why they included him.

Before everyone was loving Bryan Cranston, he starred on the soap opera Loving. Wasn’t he was a good on-camera kisser when he was 28 in that 1984 episode?
LeBron James is trying to reboot Friday the 13th, so that makes me think that Nightmare on Elm Street is not too far behind. Looks like I am not alone because Michael McKean dressed up as a horror legend.
So is Lenny making his claim on the role for Freddy Kruger? Nope, but he is doing it for Hollywood. To find out what it is all about, check out his Cooking Channel show Food: Fact or Fiction tonight at 10p.
If he were to audition for the title role, I think he would be perfect.
