Scarecrows’ filmmakers warning to their fans, don’t trespass in cornfields
December 17th, 2018 under Movies. [ Comments: none ]

Last week, the film Scarecrows was released on VOD. Someone illegally uploaded the video to YouTube and over two million people checked out the horror movie. I guess the people watching it liked what they saw, so they thought it would be fun to go to a cornfield, get high and find themselves lost in the maze as they looked for the scarecrow protecting the field.

Several farmers were so unhappy about this that they reached out to producer Adam Rodness and director Stu Stone requesting that make a video telling their fans not to recreate the movie. Which the filmmakers did over the weekend.

What is weird is why the fans would want to do this after seeing the movie. Scarecrows is about four teens who go on a scenic hike in the middle of nowhere with no cell reception, only to find out their car has been stolen. One by one they are kidnapped by the people who own the land. The landowners then torture them turning them into living scarecrows. Think of it as a movie with scarecrows meets Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

I don’t know about you, but that is not a living nightmare I want to experience.

Therefore, I would follow the filmmakers’ advice and not go into someone else’s farmland. You might not get turned into a scarecrow, but you probably will get turned into the police. Depending on where you try this, you might also get in more trouble if you are also high.

Be smart, get high or drunk and watch Scarecrows on your televisions. It is much safer for all involved. Plus, there are so many drinking or take a hit games you can play with this film. Every time someone screams, drink or take a hit. Every time we see a scarecrow, drink or take a hit. Every time someone tries to use their phone, drink or take a hit. Every time the blonde does or says something sexual, chug or take a long drag. Or whatever else you come up with because there are many more!

A Step By Step mini Reunion
December 17th, 2018 under Christine Lakin, Reunions. [ Comments: none ]

Over the weekend, Patrick Duffy was reunited with two of his TV daughters, Christine Lakin and Staci Keanan (who is now a lawyer) for the Worst Ever Podcast and they look as close as ever. Can you believe it has been 20 years since their show ended?

With all of the recent revivals, why hasn’t ABC revived TGIF? I don’t know about you but would love to see more episodes of Step By Step, Family Matters, Step By Step and Dinosaurs. How awesome would that be? I would totally watch. What child of the ’90s wouldn’t check it out?

Lionel Richie says hello to tour bus in front of his house
December 17th, 2018 under Lionel Richie. [ Comments: none ]

As Lionel Richie was leaving his house the other day, there was a tour bus in front of it. What did he do? He got of his car and said to them, “Hello, is it me you’re looking for?” He was and they were dancing on the ceiling to see the legendary singer. In fact, they were in so in shock of seeing an actual celebrity that they almost forgot to ask for a photo for with him. Luckily, they remember before it was too late, otherwise, they would have been upset with themselves all night, all night long.

Miles gets the one Gd Friended Me request he won’t do
December 16th, 2018 under CBS, Gd Friended Me. [ Comments: none ]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AVLpVjo_kzw
Miles (Brandon Micheal Hall) helps everyone that Gd asks him to, but tonight at 8p on CBS’s Gd Friended Me, he refuses to help Charles Cole.

Cole is the man who killed his mother 17 years ago in a drunk driving accident. The day before that tragic anniversary, he gets a request to friend him. He refuses to do it.

Cara (Violett Beane) does some investigating on her own and learns more about what happened that night. Now that she knows more about him, so she tries to convince Miles to meet him? Will she be able to it?

While Miles looks into Cole, he finds out his father (Joe Morton) has met with his mother’s killer in the past. That causes Miles to confront his dad. Will what his dad tells him cause any even bigger wedge in their relationship or bring them closer?

While Miles past comes back to haunt him, Rakesh (Suraj Sharma) gets even closer to Falcon. By the end of the episode, we will get a reveal that is so shocking, you will want to know what happens next. Too bad we will have to wait a few weeks to find out.

Greg Berlanti might be known for his DC Universe shows, but to me, he is best when he focuses on family. He is the best producer when it comes to warming your heart and Gd Friended Me is a perfect example of this.
