Pat Sajak has been pretty much been hosting Wheel of Fortune since 1991 and looks like the game show host is getting ready to retire. The 71-year-old tweeted this over the weekend, “Thinking ahead to retirement in a few years. Might be time to break out the Beanie Baby collection and cash in.”
Does it sound like he is ready to call it a day on one of the easiest jobs in Hollywood? If he does, then what will you do? Better yet, who should replace him?
More importantly are Beanie Babies worth anything because I got a few I could sell?
Tyra Banks and Freeform announced today that Life Size 2 is finally happening this holiday season on Freeform, but there was something missing from the press release. That thing is Lindsay Lohan. Instead, this movie is starring grown-ish’s, Francia Raisa.
According to the press release, “Raisa will play Grace Manning, the confident and funny CEO of Marathon Toys, a huge toy company started by her mother that is most famous for manufacturing the iconic Eve doll. Grace is also a hot mess in the middle of her quarter-life crisis and realizing that she is in over her head as CEO. To make matters worse, her wild-child ways are causing the company’s stock to plummet.” Then they added who is also guest starring in the telemovie, “Gavin Stenhouse as Grace’s potential love interest Calum; Shanica Knowles as Tahlia and Hank Chen as Brendan, who are Grace’s best friends; along with Alison Fernandez as Lex, Grace’s young next-door neighbor.”
Missing, as you can see, is Lohan, which makes me wonder is worth making without her? To me, Life Size is more Lohan than Banks. Although, I have admired Raisa since she was brilliant on The Secret Life of an American Teenager, so I am torn.
Degrassi: The Next Generation’s fan favorite Jake Epstein married his favorite woman, Designated Survivor’s Vanessa Smythe, this Saturday in Toronto in front of family and friends.
His TV adoptive dad, Pat Mastroianni, shared a photo that Derrick Chua took of the happy couple as they said, “I do!” Joey Jeremiah also wrote, “Mazel Tov to Jake Epstein & Vanessa Smythe. Oh how my boy has grown. 🤠👍Craig Manning Degrassi. Wishing you both a lifetime of love and happiness.”
Not much is known about their big day but the Mr. & Mrs. created a website about their wedding. It includes photos of the actors throughout their relationship that, according to Epstein, began when he was just 15 years old. Over half of their lives of being in love with each other, with the rest of their lives to go.
Congrats to the beautiful couple!
Update: The blushing bride, Vanessa Smythe, shared a photo of one of the first kisses as The Epsteins.
It has been over 10 years since Sacha Baron Cohen has one of his undercover camera shows on the air, but that is all going to change this Sunday at 10p. After some hints over the last week, that something was in the works, Showtime finally confirmed it today.
Not much is known about the interview series, but the 7 episodes have been in production for the last year. David Nevins, President and CEO of Showtime Networks Inc. described it as, “He is the premier provocateur of our time, but not for the sake of ‘gotcha’ moments. Behind the elaborate setup is a genuine quest for the truth about people, places and politics. Nobody knows how to cause a stir like Sacha Baron Cohen, and it’s going to be fascinating to watch what happens when WHO IS AMERICA? is released on the world.”
Cohen interviews everyone from famous politicians to the average Joe to talk about politics. What he finds out will more than definitely get people talking!
Mickey Rourke shared a photo of himself behind bars, so was he arrested again? Nope, but he explained how the real thing differs from the fake one. He said, “Every jail i’ve been in smells the same, steal bars and stinky mattress, except on movie set,it smells like freedom 🙄👊🏼❤️☘️”
What does freedom smells like we still do not know, so we can only assume it smells like craft services. Like most movie sets.
