Names like William Hung, Chicken Little Boy, Scotty MacIntyre, Sanjaya Malakar with Crying Girl, Chewbacca Girl and the Pants on the Floor Guy. There were even two American Idols there, Ruben Studdard and Taylor Hicks.
If you are going to have all of those greats in one place, then what are you going to do with them? Make them sing for their dinner of course and they did. They gave us updates on their lives and some of them are still singing. Not professionally, but they never gave up their dream no matter how hard Simon Cowell tried to destroy them.
How he found them? We can only assume at the worst Karaoke bar in Anaheim. Where else?
When it comes to the ABC version can you name any of the contestants? Even the person who won last night? Did you even know they crowned a new winner yesterday?
Ever since Nickelodeon announced that they were bringing back Double Dare, you wondered if Marc Summers was going to be on the revival. The good news is that he is part of it, the bad news is they got some Raven Simone clone (Liza Koshy) to host it.
What is our favorite game show host from our youth going to be doing then? He is going to be giving color commentary. If anyone knows the ins and outs of the game show, it is him! I just wish he had a bigger role on the show. It would have been a win/win for everyone. The kids will fall in love with him since their parents already have. Imagine how many of the older humans are going to tell him they watched him when they were their kids’ ages. Now, I get it, that would make someone feel as ancient as the pyramids of Egypt.
I know it is not Family Double Dare, but you know their rents will be there rooting them on.

Next Monday is Memorial Day and Fox is giving us two bonus episodes of Lucifer as a memorial to the show that they wrongly cancelled.
Last season, Fox ordered too many episodes of Lucifer and carried them over for this season. Well, they still had too many episodes so they were going to carry them over to next season. The only problem is evil Fox cancelled the show. Now Fox has a conundrum, what do with them?
Well, they came to the conclusion to air them Monday, May 28th from 8-10p. Since you have the day off from school or work and you will be in a BBQ coma, the best thing to do is watch a show about really sexy Devil who helps to solve crimes. There is nothing else to watch that night and this show is worth saving. Lucifer saw an uptick in viewers in its season finale, and if we can do the same on the 28th then maybe Fox or someone else will renew it for a fourth season. Please, anyone, save our Lucifer.
We don’t know if the extra 2 episodes will give us any answers to the season finale, what we do is what they are about. Fox describes them as, “As Lucifer and the team investigate the murder of a child psychiatrist, Ella thinks about a big childhood secret that she’s been hiding. Then, in Part Two, which was directed by cast member Kevin Alejandro (Dan), an alternate dimension is visited where Lucifer not only has never met Chloe, but is granted the freedom of choice.”
Sounds like good Memorial Day watching to me, so watch or Lucifer will come after you. Who wants the devil going after them? I know I don’t.
