A concert is supposed to be a happy event and a safe place, but Ariana Grande’s turned into a nightmare tonight. The singer was wrapping up her concert in Manchester, England when a loud boom, reportedly an explosion possibly a bomb, suddenly filled the Manchester Arena. Concert goers went running for safety, but not everyone got OK. Sadly, there are “multiple fatalities” and many more injured according to Greater Manchester Police.
As with breaking news of this type, there is a lot of misinformation. BBC is trying their best to keep it all straight, so you can check the site for updates.
What is confirmed by GM Police is that explosion happened around 10:35p GMT outside the concert hall in foyer area. As of 8:14p EST at least 19 souls have lost their lives, around 50 people have been injured. It is currently being treated as a terrorist incident until police determine otherwise. Ariana Grande’s rep says the singer is OK physically.
Prayers go out to everyone in Manchester especially those who were at the concert.
UPDATE: Ariana Grande has put her International tour on hold and Tweeted, “broken. from the bottom of my heart, i am so so sorry. i don’t have words.” Meanwhile, her manager Scooter Braun released this statement, “Tonight, out hearts are broken. Words cannot express our sorrow for the victims and families harmed in this senseless attack.
“We mourn the lives of children and loved ones taken by this cowardly act. We are thankful for the selfless service tonight of Manchester’s first responders, who rushed towards danger to help save lives. We ask all of you to hold the victims, their families and all those affected in your hearts and prayers.”

Before Tom Hanks had 2 Oscars to his name, he starred in a hysterical show called Bosom Buddies with Peter Scolari and Holland Taylor. He didn’t have to lose or gain weight for the role, but he did have to shave his legs because Kip (Hanks) and Henry (Scolari) dressed up as woman to in order to live in all female hotel. Ruth (Taylor) was their tough boss who wouldn’t take their crap and eventually went in to advertising business with them. It was so totally ’80s and yet timeless, and that is why it is still in syndication over 35 years later.
While that was then, this is now. Here at the three leads prepping for something in October and sadly it is not a reunion show. I would love to see how Hanks looks drag in 2017. We know that Scolari can still work it because of Jimmy Kimmel Live bit he took part in last year.
They honestly don’t make shows like this one anymore which is really sad. Because back then, they made our days more Sonny, Sonny, Sonny, Sonny. On that note, Donna Dixon, who is married to Dan Aykroyd, is still just as gorgeous as she was then.
How much would you love to see a revival of Bosom Buddies? Kip and Sonny could have gotten married, had a son, who also dresses as a woman, just so that they can all live in that same hotel. Why would they move because it was cheap, just not dirt cheap like their old apartment. Maybe Henry and Amy (the late Wendie Jo Sperber) had a daughter and Kip’s son is in love with her? That could be the spinoff and Isabelle (Telma Hopkins) could sing the theme song. I think I need to get a life.
Beyonce is very pregnant with twins, and I think that is obvious in these pictures. The singer and her husband Jay Z threw a party over the weekend for #2 and #3 and looks like they will make their grand entrance any day now. Or should I say second because she looks ready to pop.
