When you heard the news that Erin Moran passed away at the age of 56 on Saturday, you have to admit you thought she either ODed or committed suicide. You didn’t want to, but with her past that is what you thought.
Harrison County Coroner’s office released this statement to WDRB, “On Saturday the 22nd day of April, 2017, Erin Marie Moran-Fleischmann passed away at her residence located in New Salisbury Indiana. A joint investigation into Mrs. Moran’s death was conducted by the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department and the Harrison County Coroner’s Office. A subsequent autopsy revealed that Mrs. Moran likely succumbed to complications of Stage 4 cancer.” Then they added, “Standard toxicology tests were performed and the results are pending however no illegal narcotics were found at the residence.”
Meanwhile her TV brother Ron Howard talked about his little sister on The Talk today and said, “What a great, irrepressible spirit, you know, and a wonderful talent, and you know she was always the kid on the set… the Erin event really did hit hard, and shock, I had no idea she was ill whatsoever. But when I think of her then, which is how I choose to, she was this feisty, spirited girl.” He continued with, “It was kinda a boys club; we had all the guys goofing around… I do remember a particular moment where we were in rehearsal… and somehow it was kinda turning into a shaving cream fight, and she did sneak up behind Henry Winkler with a pretty good shaving cream pie and get him.”
Another Happy Days costar talked about her on Twitter, Ted McGinley wrote, “#ErinMoran#RIPErinMoran. energetic blue eyes exploded with life, like her smile. Always kind to me. One of America’s best little sisters.”
Let’s remember her for her happier times and not the ones that weren’t that way.
If you are like me, then you loved Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and hated Charlie and the Chocolate Factory because Tim Burton destroyed the classic with his take on it. You know it was bad, but how bad?
Matt Skuta put the original side by side with the remake and you see how disastrous Tim Burton’s version truly is. He f*cked it up in every way. Don’t even get me started on Johnny Depp, he is no Gene Wilder.
By some miracle, I sat through the whole thing, but it was nearly impossible. I just wanted to cry after how horrendous one was as compared to the other. What do you think? I think Tim Burton should stop doing movies.
Oh and watch how Tom & Jerry did a much better job with it! Incredible, no?
It has been almost 24 years since Perfect Strangers ended its 8 season run on ABC. Even though, Bronson Pinchot and Mark-Linn Baker have remained friends since the show ended in 1993, they have not done any press together since then. Last week, they did a radio interview together for 106.7 and talked about their time on the beloved sitcom.
Proving that Cousin Larry and Balki would still be living together after all of these years. So much so, I think they should do a revival of the show. This time instead of it taking place in Chicago, why not have it so that Cousin Larry moves in with Balki in Mypos. Larry is recently divorced and the kids have all moved out, so he is moving in with his cousin just like Balki did in 1986. I’d watch, would you?
