Disney finally released the full trailer for Beauty and the Beast and it doesn’t have the same magic as the animated classic to me.
I have to admit, this is not my favorite Disney musical. For the last year, my niece has made me suffer through it several times when I babysit her. Therefore, I figured I would give it a try. But I just can’t get into it. The casting seems wrong for me. Emma Watson is just not Belle to me. I can’t get behind her in the role, and she is a big part of the film.
How do you feel about? Are you going to run and see it on March 17th or wait until the kid in your life forces you to watch it?
Before Scarlett Johansson was trying to save the world as Black Widow in The Avengers, her biggest problem was trying to save her sibling who was turned into a swine in My Brother the Pig. How cute was the 14 year old in that 1999 movie?
The Good Place ended its first reason with a reset which left viewers wanting more. We aren’t the only ones, NBC does too. That is why they picked up the smart comedy for a second season, so we can see them relive their time again in the bad place.
Jennifer Salke, President, NBC Entertainment explained her decision as, “Mike Schur has always had one of the most fertile and imaginative minds in comedy, but what he brought us with the first season of ‘The Good Place’ was just extraordinary.” Then she added, “We absolutely can’t wait to see where these characters go, literally, in season two. A big thank you to Mike, the writers and cast for delivering a series in which we all take such enormous pride.”
When I watched the pilot, I was underwhelmed with the show, then I watched the second episode and I was hooked. It is really creative and original how they web the episodes together each week. Plus, the way they developed the characters and shocked us with their season finale. Making the second season a must watch! Thus, I am really looking forward to next 13 episodes in the Fall.
Tonight at 9p on Fox, Lucifer (Tom Ellis) will do anything to save Chloe’s (Lauren German) life, but at what cost to him and more importantly to her? The man, who has the antidote that can cure her, took it with him to the grave, and now finding someone else who has it is proving to be impossible and time consuming. So time consuming the Detective is getting sicker and weaker, and it doesn’t look like she is going to make it. Her daughter, Trixie (Scarlett Estevez) and Amenadiel (D. B. Woodside) are holding a bedside vigil at her hospital bed while her friends will do all they can do to save her. Even doing the unthinkable. But is that enough?
By the end of the midseason finale someone, who has been in every episode, will die and so will somebody else. Their deaths will have an impact on everyone around them, an impact you would never expect.
Therefore, bring the tissues because you are going to need them in this episode that shows a whole new side to several of out characters. Everyone brings their best performances tonight and you really don’t want to miss them.
Everyone but Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt) who is just her normal perfect self that doesn’t need to change. She is the person we most want to be friends with and have as our friend because she will defend you until the end.
When it comes to Lucifer, the show, as a whole, this is one of the very few shows that I make sure to watch live every week because I adore it more and more with each new episode. It is unlike anything else on television these days and the acting and writing is always phenomenal. It is a great escape from reality and we all need that.
