Do you think this Mariah Carey billboard is too sexy?
August 23rd, 2016 under Mariah Carey. [ Comments: 1 ]

Mariah Carey knows she is a sweet fantasy, so that is why they are using her body to promote her Las Vegas show at Los Angeles airports. Only problem is that the Burbank Airport thinks it is too much sexiness and want a tamer one according to KCBS. Meanwhile, the Long Beach Airport is OK with it.
What side are you on, Burbank’s or Long Beach’s? I have to remain neutral because I only fly out of one of those airports.

Maybe it is a good thing that Grandfathered got cancelled?
August 22nd, 2016 under Full House, Josh Peck. [ Comments: 6 ]

A video posted by Josh Peck (@shuapeck) on

John Stamos and Josh Peck not only shared the small screen together in their cancelled too soon sitcom Grandfathered, but they also share the same birthday. Therefore, the TV father and son, decided to celebrate it together by doing a road trip. Now that they are officially a year older, they are also a little bit more grumpier. Case in point, when Peck decided to sing the Full House theme, Stamos had some words for him. They were not you are a great singer, instead he said, “Shut up! Shut the f*ck up!”
Even though I was sad to see this comedy go, it might’ve been for the best. Imagine what it would be like if these two had to work together 5 days a week for almost half a year. Actually that would make a really good behind the scenes movie for Lifetime! I take back what I said, it was not for the best.

BTWF pilots: Nicolas Cage in Best of Times

Before Nicolas Cage was a huge action star, he talked about another one in Best of Times. Back in 1981 when he was just 17 years old, this failed pilot might’ve been his first role, and I think it might’ve been his best role too.

Dee Snider turns We’re Not Gonna Take It into a ballad for a great cause
August 22nd, 2016 under Admirable People, Twisted Sister. [ Comments: none ]

Criss Angel’s precious son, Johnny, is thankfully in remission from lymphoblastic leukemia. Instead of moving on, the Las Vegas magician created a charity “to raise awareness of pediatric cancer and provide funds for research, treatment, and ultimately a cure.”
Criss Angel‘s HELP: Heal Every Life Possible decided to use Twisted Sister’s song We’re Not Gonna Take It as their anthem. According to Rolling Stone, not only did the Metal band’s record company give the nonprofit the song’s licensing fee for free, Dee Snider, who’s friends with Angel, donated his time to rework a recording of the tune.
The Rocker also released a video for it that was directed by Angel. The music video was shot in a Nevada desert as the mother of a cancer victim got her head shaved. It also shows several young children who are battling the awful disease. If this doesn’t make you cry because it is so beautifully done, then I don’t know what to say.
Everything about it, is how we should feel about children getting cancer. We are not gonna take it anymore! What a powerful way to get that message across.
On September 12th, all the biggest names in Las Vegas, are getting together to take part in HELP fundraiser where “100% of every cent donated will go directly to fund pediatric cancer research.” If you cannot make it to the event, them you can bid on many of the awesome items that up for auction now.
Hopefully, if all goes the way it should, some day soon, no parent will ever hear their child has cancer.
