BTWF news: Meghan Trainor on Capecast
February 15th, 2016 under Meghan Trainor. [ Comments: none ]

Before Meghan Trainor was All About That Bass, she was all about the soldiers when she performed her song Take Care of Our Troops on Capecast. Even when she was just 16 years old back in 2010, you could tell she was going to be a star. Thus, it should be no surprise that she won Best New Artist at the Grammys tonight.

Gotta love when some proudly screams out, ‘Your whore!”
February 15th, 2016 under Steve Harvey. [ Comments: none ]

Family Feud wanted to know, “Give me another name for mistress?” Sandy knew the answer, so she hit the buzzer like a married man would hit his mistress. When Steve Harvey pointed at her to tell him what she thought that word was, she proudly guessed, “Your whore!” She didn’t second guess herself and held her head up high as everyone laughed. Was she right? Believe it or not, it was the second highest answer on the board. How was it not #1?
Now, what makes this answer even more incredible that came from Miss Sandy, is the fact that she is a Church-going Librarian. The influence that Fifty Shades of Grey has had on libraries is starting to show its effects. I like it.

Mulder and Scully meet a younger version of themselves!
February 15th, 2016 under Italia Ricci and Robbie Amell, X-Files. [ Comments: none ]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Ah7EO3ZC1g
Next week is the season finale for The X-Files on Fox, but tonight at 8p we get a new episode.
Two terrorists blow up an art gallery in Texas, but one of the bombers survives, sort of. Basically, his heart is beating and that is about it.
Two FBI Agents Miller (Robbie Amell) and Einstein (Lauren Ambrose) come to Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) to ask then if they can help them with the case. They want to see if they can help them communicate with the lifeless bomber to find out where the next target is going to be, since that seems like something The X-Files Agents would know how to do. They say they can’t help, and the two go on their way to the airport.
Miller is like Mulder and Einstein is like Dana, which makes it that more surprising when Scully calls Miller to help him and Mulder calls Einstein to help her. No one tells their partner what they are doing, but at some point the four of them meet up in Texas.
Will they be able to find a way to talk to the bomber before it is too late? You will just have to tune in to find out.
That and to hear a line that Scully has wanted to say for 22 years. But the best moment comes half way through the episode and all I will say it is has to do with Mulder and Billy Ray Cyrus’ song Achy Breaky Heart. Think you know what happens? Let’s just say you will not be disappointed when you see it.

The Rock is just a big old softy!
February 15th, 2016 under The Rock. [ Comments: 1 ]

A video posted by therock (@therock) on

The Rock‘s daughter will be two months tomorrow and Jasmine already has her father wrapped around her finger. She isn’t the only one that has him under her spell. While DJ fed his baby girl, his dog Hobbs licked his leg. Did he do anything to stop it? Of course not. He might play a meanie on the big screen, but in real life he is anything but.
Seriously, isn’t Dwayne Johnson the most likable celebrity out there? And this video makes you love him just that much more.

Randy Couture is going to be on this Thursday’s Lip Sync Battle on Spike TV and he is going old school for his song choice. The MMA legend is lip syncing Olivia Newton John’s huge hit Let’s Get Physical, and his performance is giving my abs a work out from laughing so hard.
I don’t know about you, but this has me feeling all Xanadu inside.
