https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VOhN9GE4tzw CKPG‘s Aileen Machell was reporting on how the International Space Station successfully grew their first crops in their space garden, when Sports reporter Rich Abney made a cheesy joke. Lettuce, I mean, let me tell you about it. When she tossed to him, he said, “It seems like a better idea than eating food grown on Uranus.”
The joke is stupid enough to laugh at, but it was Camille MacDonald’s reaction that truly launched the joke to be out of this world.
Tonight you can look up at the sky and count the stars, but that will hurt your neck. Instead you can be comfortable in your bed and watch the sweet Love Under the Stars on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries at 9p.
Becca (Ashley Newbrough) is a forever student, and her latest thesis is going to change her life. Her professor and mentor (Barry Bostwick) gets her job as a teacher’s assistant with his daughter. Becca immediately befriends 9 year old Emily (Jaeda Lily Miller), who lost her mother two years ago and is still not over it. Emily is about the same age as Becca when she also lost her mom. The two of them have an immediate bond. Becca is childlike and Emily is a child. But Becca will change when she meets Emily’s dad Nate (Wes Brown).
Becca’s childhood has made her weary of getting close to people after her mom died and her dad abandoned her. The closer she gets to Emily, the more she realizes she can get close to people again.
She finally has her topic for her thesis, and is hard at work completing it. But when Nate finds out about Becca’s thesis, he thinks she’s been using his daughter and him and asks her to leave. Will Becca pass the course and fail in love? You will just have tune into this wonderful movie that proves that friends come in all ages.
I just have to say I have been a fan of Newbrough’s since Privileged and no one could’ve played this part better than her. She is beyond perfect in the role and I hope we see her on TV more often.
Khloe Kardashian gets such a lift out of her seeing her younger sister Kendall Jenner, that she gave her lift when she saw her. Although that position looks like something I have seen in the type of movie that their older sister Kim starred in. And I am not talking about Disaster Movie.
A few days ago, HBO announced that they picked up Sesame Street for 5 more seasons. So what does that mean for the show that has spent 45 years on PBS? So That Happened got their hands on the first trailer and there will be cursing and so much more. This is not the Sesame Street we grew up on, but it is the Sesame Street I want to watch now. I just won’t let any kids watch it. Which is OK because they are watching Dora the Explorer and Doc McStuffins.
