Fox not only announced when their old show will be back and when the new ones will debut, they also previewed what’s coming up for Empire and Bones during their season premieres.
EMPIRE:
The series will pick up three months after the shocking arrest and incarceration of Empire Entertainment head LUCIOUS LYON (Terrence Howard). Knowing Lucious won’t be held much longer in prison, COOKIE (Taraji P. Henson) and her allies within the Lyon family make a desperate attempt to seize control of the company. But as the Lyons continue to battle each other, a bigger external threat emerges that could force them to unite.
BONES:
Picking up six months after the Season 10 finale, BRENNAN (Emily Deschanel) and BOOTH (David Boreanaz) have moved on to a new town and new jobs, having given up their old life and settled into a blissful death-free existence. But a murder unlike any other draws them back to investigate with their former colleagues at the Jeffersonian and FBI. At 9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT, SLEEPY HOLLOW returns after a disquieting break in the demonic action, as our heroes – ICHABOD CRANE (Tom Mison) and ABBIE MILLS (Nicole Beharie) – adjust to a world seemingly without Moloch, witchy wives, evil sons and headless ex-best friends. However, nothing is ever quite as it seems, and the eerie calm will quickly give way to the next tribulation, driven by a surprising supernatural presence that will challenge Crane and Mills in ways they never imagined.
You knew that Bones and Booth weren’t going to be able to stay away from the Jeffersonian.
The most upsetting news from the Fox press release is that Christina Tosi will also be a judge on MasterChef Junior. I hope she is a better judge on that show than she is on MC Senior. She is so hard for me to watch, that I am thinking of giving up the reality cooking competition.
When it comes to the new comedies, I can tell you that both of them have very strong premieres. So mark your calendars for them and the other Fox shows.

Stop the presses, Jimmy Fallon told 2 dirty jokes!
June 25th, 2015 under Arrested, Jimmy Fallon. [ Comments: none ]

Jimmy Fallon is the swellest guy in late night television, and that means you rarely ever hear him tell a dirty joke. Well, yesterday on The Tonight Show, he told not one but two naughty jokes.
The NBC late night host played Brainstorm with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Basically The Terminator would say a word or phrase, and Jimmy would go into his brain and tell us what he meant. There were a lot laughs at the beginning of their segment, but towards the end is when it got really good. When Arnuld said, “On top of old smokey,” Fallon replied with, “Where did Willie Nelson’s wife spend their honeymoon.” That was really risky for him, but he topped that one better than Willie Nelson’s wife topped Old Smokey on their honeymoon. Last up was “Die Hard,” to which Jimmy said, “What happens if you overdose on Viagra.”
I like this side of him and I hope we see it more often!

BOOM! is the bomb!
June 25th, 2015 under Fox. [ Comments: none ]

BOOM! is a game show that is a combination of many other game shows to create one BOOMtastic game show.
Three contestants, who are either friends, family or co-workers, compete together to win $500,000. One member from the team goes up as host Tom Papa asks them questions. Each question has multiple answers and each answer corresponds to a color wire on the bomb. The person answering the question has to guess what are the correct answers and cut the corresponding wire. If they cut all the correct wires, the bomb is diffused. If they guess the wrong, it explodes a liquid substance on not only them but the audience too. So the studio audience actually wants them to get the right the answer. While the audience at home, is praying for wrong answers.
If the contestant guesses all the right answers, then them and the team are still in the game and they collect a cash prize. If the bomb goes BOOM!, then they are out and the remaining contestants are still in the game. If at least one of them is around for the 7th and final question, then they have a chance to quadruple their winnings. If not, they go home with whatever they won up until the third person was eliminated.
The game starts off easy and they only have to guess which three answers are correct out of four clues. But as the game goes on, there are more clues and more wires to cut. All with a clock counting them down until the bomb goes BOOM!
The game is as thrilling and as messy as it sounds. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it from the comfort of my home, and would never ever want to be in the studio audience.
If you like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and Figure It Out, then you are going to love BOOM! It is a game show on Red Bull and coffee.

Rose McGowan says her acting agent fired her
June 25th, 2015 under Uncategorized. [ Comments: none ]

Last week, Rose McGowan posted a casting note that asks for the actresses to show up in tight low-cut shirts and pushup bras, and yesterday she said her acting agent fired her. Actually, what she Tweeted was, “I just got fired by my wussy acting agent because I spoke up about the bullshit in Hollywood. Hahaha. #douchebags #awesome #BRINGIT.”
You can’t blame the acting agent for firing her. First off, they probably got an earful from the casting agent because of what McGowan posted. If she was a client that was booking all the time, then the agent would have kept her. But what else has she been doing besides collecting residuals from Charmed? I can’t remember the last time I saw her in something, do you?
When it comes to the note, welcome to Hollywood. Yes, the agent asked for it, but if you go to casting calls, then you will see a lot actresses who are already dressed like that. Plus, when did she become so prudish? For the most part, whenever you see her she is wearing low-cut tops. So to me she sounds hypocritical.
I assume the reason why she went forward with that casting note, is she was probably upset she was not up for a lead in a Madam Panhandler film.
What do you think of it all?
