Colin Farrell was a guest on The Tonight Show yesterday and Jimmy Fallon challenged him to a game of True Confessions. Basically Farrell, Fallon and Vince Vaughn were all given two envelopes, one was filled with a truth about the person and the other one contained a lie. Then after they read the contents the other two got to question them for :60 seconds. When they were done, the other two players had to guess if the other one was telling the truth or a lie.
Farrell went first, and his envelope said, “When I was a late teen I got brought in for questioning as a suspect in an attempted murder.” As they were questioning him, he admitted that when the cops showed a sketch of the suspect he thought the guy looked at him. Then he realized he had a blackout the night of the crime, and he started to wonder if he was the one who did it.
So did he do it? No, as he explained, “Thankfully a friend of mine kept a journal and that particular night and at that particular time we were at a party on the other side of town doing ecstasy.” In other words, he had committed a crime, just not the one he was brought in for.
Then it was time for Jimmy Fallon’s confession and he got his head stuck in a fence when he was kid. Explains a lot, no?
Father’s Day is just two days away, and what better way to celebrate it than to tell your dad a secret you’ve never told him. Actually, that is a bad idea unless you are walking on Hollywood Blvd and Jimmy Kimmel Live asks you do it. How many times has a couple gotten divorced and the judge order one of the spouses to give the other one half? Well, a man in Germany took the judge literally, got out the power saw and gave his wife half of the car, half of the TV and the one that broke my heart, half of a teddy bear.
He sent her her half, and put his half on eBay. So if you want any of his half, then bid on it while you still have a chance.
Don’t try this is America, as tempted as you are, because I doubt any judge will find it as funny as you and I do.
After 5 months, Brian Williams finally broke his silence about his scandal on Today this morning, and you can tell he has been humbled by the experience. Not only is he humbled, but he has aged. His eyes are puffier and there are a few more wrinkles around them.
Now, that he is apologized and owned up this mistakes, let’s move on. What he did is not as bad as some of you have made it out to be. Have you ever embellished a story? That’s what he did. He didn’t hurt anyone. He didn’t commit any crimes. He just exaggerated. In the world of news, that really isn’t that bad.
At least is likable and can interview people, which is more than I can say for the person who was interviewing him.
