All weekend long people have wondered if the injured Alfonso Ribeiro would be able to dance on Dancing with the Stars tonight, and Carlton danced through the pain not once but twice. Not only did he do the routines, but he did them flawlessly. So if you didn’t know that he hurt his back, you wouldn’t be to tell when he was on the dance floor.
My hat is way off for him because he could’ve said I am injured and called it a day, but he didn’t. I am so proud of him and I really hope he wins the mirror ball trophy because he deserves it. Not only for tonight, but for the season as a whole.
Plus, Jimmy Kimmel will kill him if he doesn’t win, since he bet on him to take it all home. Those that the ABC late night host bet on who haven’t won in the past, were hospitalized with undisclosed accidents right after the show.
Back to Alfonso, I admit I am completely biased when it comes to him because we are from the same hometown (that he mentioned on the show tonight). But I think my bias towards him is warranted, don’t you agree!

Ever since Jane the Virgin (Gina Rodriguez) got accidentally inseminated, she has gone through a lot of changes. But those are nothing as compared to the ones she will be going through tonight at 9p on The CW.
The good news is that Jane the Virgin got a job as a teacher, the bad news is that it is as a Catholic high school.
The good news is Jane the Virgin’s father (Jaime Camil) has two step daughters with his ex-wife and the bad news is that teenage girls are real bitches who plan on her making her life hell. The news gets worse for Jane because her father transferred the girls to the high school she is teaching out and they are out to get her fired.
If that is not enough, Rafael, the father (Justin Baldoni) of Jane’s baby was arrested for beating up his wife, Petra (Yael Grobglas). Jane’s fiance’ Michael (Brett Dier) didn’t tell her he knew that the woman who is going to raise the baby was having an affair with her husband’s late best friend, Zaz. Did I mention that Zaz makes an appearance on tonight’s episode?
And there is more. It is the most shocking moment on the show so far. But I have said too much, so I won’t say anymore. I will however say, you want to watch this episode because it the best one yet. If you have never seen this show before, you will want to start tonight. They give a recap at the beginning, so you will be all caught up when the action starts. I promise you will love Jane the Virgin as much as everyone who is watching it.
TV Land announced today that the 6th season of Hot in Cleveland will be its last. The sitcom that stars Betty White, Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves and Wendie Malick was the network’s first scripted show and since then several other shows have come and gone.
I have been watching this show since day one, and it never lost its humor. No matter what the Hollywood girls did in Cleveland, they always made me laugh. So I am sad to see them go, but I am grateful for everything the show has done for TV Land, the cast, the creators and me.
The curtain is not down on Hot in Cleveland just yet, so tune every Wednesday at 10p for the final episodes.
I will laugh through the tears of one my favorite shows being cancelled way too soon.
