Wendie Malick shared this photo of Jane Leeves and her hugging each other under a blanket, and I have to wonder do they have something to tell us? Nope! While it is Hot in Cleveland, it is freezing (for us) here in LA and we are doing anything and everything to get warm. This is how these two actresses are doing it and I don’t blame them!

Tonight’s Last Man Standing is a ‘very special episode’ |

During the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s sitcoms had ‘very special episodes’ that tackled the big issues of the day like drugs, kidnapping and loss of virginity. Well tonight at 8p on ABC Last Man Standing is bringing that back to broadcast TV when they handle the topic of spanking.
When Bud (Robert Forster) admits that he spanked his great-grandson, Boyd (Flynn Morrison), for disobeying him, everyone in the family gets mad at him. Boyd’s parents, Kristin (Amanda Fuller) and Ryan (Jordan Masterson), don’t think that kids should be punished and they give their son sugar to get him to do what they want. Boyd’s grandparents, Mike (Tim Allen) and Vanessa (Nancy Travis), have their own opinions on the matter. So now the whole family is debating whether or not is OK to physically punish your kid when they disobey you.
It is an interesting topic that a lot of households ponder, and Last Man Standing handles it very well with the proper amount of humor. So tune in for what I hope is the official return of the ‘very special episode’ and also a really good episode that looks at both sides of the issue.

Jim Parsons was a guest on Conan O’Brien’s talk show yesterday and they took one of the TBS late night show’s audience members to the set of The Big Bang Theory that tapes on the same lot. Sheldon promised to give the fan a souvenir from his set, but when they got there he changed his mind. So he gave her the shirt off his back, his back being Simon Helberg! The sweet gesture is still there, so I am OK with it even though it looks like Wolowitz isn’t.
BTW doesn’t Jim Parsons seem like the nicest guy out there? The multiple Emmy winner was so appreciative of the fan and so sincere with her that it made me love him even more.

ABC has cut Scandal’s episode order from 22 to 18 and they won’t say why according to Variety. We are all thinking the reason for the shortened season for one of their tops show is Kerry Washington’s unconfirmed pregnancy that has been rumored for a few weeks now.
Personally I wouldn’t mind if they did a few episodes without her because it could set things up for something even bigger and unexpected next season.
How do you feel about their episode order being cut down? I am sure ABC is not exactly happy about it because Once Upon a Time in Wonderland is a bust, Grey’s Anatomy has it goods weeks and bad weeks and Scandal does consistently well. So they really depend on Scandal not only to keep their Thursdays strong, but also the rest of their week because except for Mondays they are struggling with their 10p shows.

I guess James Franco‘s fans asked him to post a nude selfie, so he obliged. Or as he says, “#Almostnude – YOu ASKED FOR IT, YOU GOT it. Tryna work that body, tryin’, tryin’.”
So let’s see what should we get him to do next, because obviously he is willing to do what we want him to.
