Get to know the awwwwdorable couple from the Swiffer commercials!
September 5th, 2013 under Kathie Lee and Hoda. [ Comments: none ]

You know that awwwdorable loving couple, who’ve been married for 44 years, in those Swiffer commercials, well Morty and Lee Kaufman were featured on Today with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb yesterday and we got to know more about them. If you thought the 90 year groom and his 91 year old bride were precious in those ads, they are even more amazing in the interview. The former-teacher and her husband were not looking for fame, but they found it when a casting director friend of his daughter asked her if she knew any couples over 70 that might be interested in doing the ads. Well she did and you know what happens next.
Thankfully that casting director asked his daughter because they are the perfect couple to be in those advertisements. Something that was solidified when Hoda asked them what is the secret to their long marriage, and Morty simply responded by saying “You gotta love each other. You got to let each other know that their being loved.” Then he added, “I don’t go to bed, at night, without saying ‘Lee, I love you,’ and she doesn’t go to bed without saying ‘I love you too.'” That response is the most perfect way I have ever heard love expressed and I am not sweeping his sentiments under the rug. Even with a Swiffer!
BTW can you believe that they are in their 90’s because they seem so much younger in every aspect of it all?

Richard Simmons being Richard Simmon and so much more!
September 5th, 2013 under Jimmy Kimmel, Richard Simmons. [ Comments: none ]

Richard Simmons was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday and Bill Hader will never be the same. I don’t know what the hell happened during his 8 minute appearance on the ABC late night show yesterday, but I know I enjoyed it immensely.
So sit back to watch the most unusual thing you will see all day! Your core will get a great workout from laughing so much and that will make The Weight Saint very happy.

These people went nuclear over this prank!
September 5th, 2013 under Pranks. [ Comments: 1 ]

So three people went in for a job interview and they wound up getting the scare of the lives.
The window behind the interviewer was replaced with an 84″ Ultra HD television that’s image is so lifelike it looked as though they were looking out at the city they know oh so well. Then all of sudden something was seen catapulting from the sky down towards the city. So naturally they freaked as they thought it was the end of the world, only to realize they were being pranked to promote the new LG television.
Well that gag guaranteed that those three people will never ever buy another LG product for the rest of their lives. At least that is how I would react if they tried to pull that sh!t on me.
BTW I love at the end when they say, “LG, Life’s Good”. Yeah you just scared the bejesus out three people by wiping out a country and letting them think the world is coming to end, but it’s OK, Life’s Good. Bad slogan to follow that ad. Just saying!

I’m kind of wishing for Sandra Bullock to die in the Gravity trailer
September 5th, 2013 under George Clooney, Sandra Bullock. [ Comments: none ]

Remember the end of that movie The Perfect Storm, and Mark Wahlberg’s head kept bobbing up and down in water and he just wouldn’t die. So then you found yourself screaming at the screen “Die already!” and after several minutes he finally did? Well that is the feeling I got when I watched the trailer for Gravity that is out on October 4th. It seems like it could be a good movie, but at a certain point I think I would find myself bored with it. Like enough torture and let’s get this resolved already. I mean how much sh!t can you see someone go through in about three hours before you like, c’mon just end it already? But that could just be my way of looking at movies with George Clooney in them, to me all of them suck since he did One Fine Day.
Now back to Sandra Bullock, I really like her, but it’s like enough already with the heavy breathing. And that is why it reminded me of that other movie George Clooney did. I rooted for his death in that movie when he was steering the boat over that huge wave, you so know the scene I am talking about.
