Tim Gunn was on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday and the ABC late night host told him that his dad sometimes calls him after the show and tells him he doesn’t like that his shirt sleeves are too short. So after Kimmel told that story, the Project Runway host admitted that his mom would call him up after every episode and tell him what was wrong with his outfit for that show. She’s would tell him if a collar was out of place, ask him how he could wear that tie and so on. In fact during their last Thanksgiving together, she told the Fashion Guru that he should dress more like Mitt Romney. So now I think we all know where he gets fashion sense and critiques from, his wonderful mom who did a great job raising him. Seriously who doesn’t love Tim Gunn and his mother is a big part of why he turned out the way he did?

There was a time that Lori Petty was in a league of her own in Hollywood, but then something happened and she suddenly became the tank girl. I don’t know why she isn’t bigger than she is because I think the 49 year old looks great and is different than most of the other actresses out there today. But then again she stood out in the crowd.

Carson Daly goes from late late night to the early mornings! |

Carson Daly is leaving Last Call to join the Today show starting on September 16th, and for you fans of The Voice he will still be hosting the singing competition.
So what will he be doing on the morning news show? He will be in charge of their new Orange Room that will be dedicated to social media and connecting viewers with the show. I am guessing he will kind of be like that person who does that for The Voice, you know that person that everyone fast forwards. But he more interesting and you want to hear what he has to say.
Now when it comes to his replacement on Last Call, NBC has yet to make a decision. I just hope it is not another Saturday Night Liver. There are already too many of them on NBC’s late night. Ahh it just hit me, since Lorne Michaels is in charge of NBC’s late night; I bet he finagled this deal so he can give that job to another SNLer and that is why Carson is waking up early instead of staying up late. Like I said, I am just assuming that he did .

Breaking Bad is coming to an end and Jimmy Fallon gave the departing show a fitting tribute on Late Night. While I don’t watch the drama that people are as addicted to as some people are to meth, I appreciated what he did with it. Although it probably explains why I wasn’t completely blown away until the last two minutes of the bit. It definitely made me laugh a lot, but it didn’t make me laugh my a$$ off! That joke will make sense when you watch the full thing.
