Tonight’s Under the Dome is the bomb!
July 22nd, 2013 under Dean Norris, Under The Dome. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 10p on CBS, Under the Dome takes on two of the big plot points from the book and it does it so much better!
The first plot point they take on is from the end of the book. It is Visitor’s Day for the people of Chester’s Mill and they finally get to see their loved ones who are on the other side. But when Barbie (Mike Vogel) and Dodee (Jolene Purdy) talk to a soldier they find out that this wasn’t a hello, but a goodbye. That is because the military is planning on sending the most powerful bomb (which is from day 3 in the book) they have to crack the dome. If it works everyone will be dead. Just like how one of those plot points worked in the book. (I am saving you from reading almost 1,100 pages of a book that is so much better as a TV Show. Translation, I hated the book and it was like torture trying to finish it.)
So will this end like the book or will the show have another chapter, I mean episode, to share with us next week? You will just have to tune into find out.
Oh and we find out what Big Jim (Dean Norris) has planned for Angie (Britt Robertson). Is he better than his son or is Junior (Alexander Koch) just a chip off the old block?

It took 280 movies to sing Ice Ice Baby!
July 22nd, 2013 under Vanilla Ice. [ Comments: none ]

Don Draper Says What spent the last 3 months combining lines from 280 movies to create a music video of those actors singing (speaking) Vanilla Ice’s Ice Ice Baby!
As someone who lived in Miami and this song was my anthem, I am so in awe with what he created. So much so I can’t stop listening to it because it is so f*cking cool. How cool? It’s Cool as Ice Ice Baby!
Seriously doesn’t this video just make your day? It’s almost as though your rollin’ in your 5.0 down A1A Beachfront Ave!

This 63 year old lady marches to the beat of her own drum!
July 22nd, 2013 under Awesome Videos. [ Comments: none ]

Mary Hvizda has been drumming for almost 50 years, but she never got the attention that she has gotten in the last few days. The Coalition Drum Shop posted a video of the 63 year old drumming at their shop and posted it on YouTube. Something she never heard of until recently according to WKBT. But now nearly 2.5 million views later, she is very familiar with it as we are with her.
While she has been dubbed the Grandma Drummer, it might not be the best name for her. As she told WKBT, “I can’t get used to being called Grandma. I’ve never had children of my own and I never got married, but I am 63 and that is certainly grandma’s age.” So what should we call her?

Richard Simmons Tweeted the above picture and said “I’m the flame that the Statue of Liberty is holding. God bless America!” He just made it so easy for me to go there that I had no choice but to.
