Jonathan Winters passed away today at the age of 87 according to AP and the world is a lot less funny because of it. Winters was a comedian who was way ahead of his time. In fact I still don’t think we have caught up to his brilliant sense of humor that inspired a lot of today’s comedians. His biggest fan is Robin Williams and the two of them got to work together on the final season of Mork & Mindy. Winters played Mork’s son Mearth and it was pure comedic genius. I remember hearing rumors that Pam Dawber had no idea what was going on on the show because the two of them were improvising all the time. Yet when you watched the show, you would never know it. Because of that I respected her so much as an actress because I loved watching all three of them together.
So today honor him by watching some of his hilarious videos on YouTube, they will put a huge smile on your face as you keep his beautiful spirit alive.
A little over two years ago Charlie Sheen was working on the Warner Bros Lot in a little show called Two and a Half Men, but then something happened and he has been banned from there since. Well that was until yesterday when he reluctantly returned to his old home away from home to appear on Conan O’Brien’s TBS show, that tapes a few stages away from 2.5, to promote Scary Movie 5 that is out today. Well since he is not allowed back and you don’t want to mess with Burbank Police (they are some of the best in the country!), he entered the only way he could. He rode on in in a tank with two of his Goddesses. If you are going to a return to a place that doesn’t want you, that is the only way to do it.
Since the location holds a lot of memories for him, he finally explained what really happened to him during his “melt-forward”. He was watching the Dave Chappelle KKK bit and he laughed so hard that he was rushed to the hospital for a hernia. He then claims that the show thought it was drug related, but it was only laughing related. Although he was on cream, a testosterone one, at the time and that made things worse for him. So now we know what was really behind his Sheenigans.
I guess the moral of his story is don’t watch Chappelle when you are on a testosterone cream.!
Back when Jeremy Piven’s niece Pearl was just two years old, she was in a very famous video for her dad’s company Funny or Die called The Landlord. Well now she is 8 years old and her uncle was doing something for that company to promote his highly enjoyable show Mr Selfridge on PBS that airs Sunday at 9p, and he asked her to be in it. Well according to what Ari told Conan O’Brien, his niece has retired from acting. I guess when you have a role of the lifetime at the tender age of two, you have earned the right to retire before you hit double digits.

Before Simon Rex was spoofing horror movies in Scary Movie 5 that is out tomorrow, he was doing it in Shriek If You Know What I Did Last Friday the Thirteenth. How cute was the 25 year old in that 2000 movie.
