Bruce Willis has had an illustrious acting career, but his films are not really kid friendly. Well now he wants to do movies that his daughter Mabel, who is turning 1 on April Fool’s Day (my birthday too), can see. So yesterday he debuted the trailer for the latest Die Hard flick and I think we can all agree that anyone of any age can go see it. So watch the trailer that aired on Jimmy Kimmel Live and don’t tell me you are not saying Yipee Ki Yay, Mother Clucker after you see it. It really is an Easter movie for the ages!
Kristin Chenoweth was a guest on The Tonight Show and she told Jay Leno that she has never eaten sushi in her life. So she made a deal with the NBC late night host that she would try the raw fish if he would donate some money to her charity Maddie’s Corner. So after she saw the check for $500, she had no choice but to do it. And before she downed the sea urchin (which was a cruel introduction into sushi) she told him “I don’t want swallow.” Things no guy wants to hear before you down something for the first time or any time. But at least she got paid for it, and how many of us ladies can say that?
Black Simon & Garfunkle were on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon again yesterday and this time they sang Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ Thrift Shop. There is nothing greater than listening the two whitest black guys harmonizing “Damn that’s a cold a$$ honky.” What could be better than that?
Jennifer Love Hewitt Tweeted a picture of herself in a wedding veil and another one of two men waiting at the altar; and I have to wonder if she has something to tell us. Nope she was just filming an upcoming episode for The Client List. What is happening in that scene, I guess we will just have to watch every Sunday at 10p to find out.
Mariah Carey is so special to American Idol that she got a helicopter to take her home from work yesterday. Her husband Nick Cannon Tweeted the above picture and said “Leaving American Idol in the Helicopter with my amazing wife @MariahCarey #WWLD” Then to rub her co-judge Nicki Minaj’s face in their form of transportation, he then Tweeted “They always say LA traffic is the worst… Funny, I don’t see none up here!” No wonder Minaj was late last week and Mariah wasn’t. The Va Va Voom singer doesn’t get to Fly in Starships to work, she has to drive in a car like the rest of us. If I were Nicki, I would make the Fox singing competition let me take the helicopter too. And if I were Fox, I would force Nicki and Mariah to share the copter together and film their time alone in it!!! That would definitely help with the ratings and the show desperately needs something to get more viewers to tune into it.
