Tonight at 8p on Fox’s Raising Hope, The Chances celebrate Halloween again and this year Jimmy (Lucas Neff) will kicked in the balls a few times! The first time is when he tries to ween his daughter off of her pacifier. The second time as you can see from the above video is when he tries to scare some kids. Maybe he should’ve taken notes from his dad on how to do that (as in the show’s past Halloween episode from season 1. It’s on Netflix if you missed it.). But I guess Burt (Garret Dillahunt) and him were too busy go to gay clubs to go over that. Wait, what? You see Sabrina’s (Shannon Woodward) Gay BFF decides that he wants her to birth his baby and she says that she will do it. Of course Jimmy is against the idea, but she is leaving him no choice. And her Gay BFF and his partner have no choice, but to accept Jimmy who is really ignorant about their lifestyle. So that is how come Burt and Jimmy wound up in gay bar, for educational purposes.
Now we all know that women can dress as slutty or sexy anythings for Halloween, and tonight Burt Chance shows us that men can dress up as some thing sexy too. He will be sexy mailman with a huge package for the night! Let me tell you it is so hot, I wish he would deliver my mail and make sure it is SWAK!!!
Seriously guys Raising Hope is the best treat on television, and I don’t know why you are not watching it. I find myself laughing harder at one episode of this show then I do with almost all of the other comedies I watch for the week combined. So since there is nothing else to do tonight, why not waste your time watching this hilarious show!
Back in July I was at the TCAs and Jimmy Kimmel was there to talk about the hosting the Emmys. After the panel a bunch of us got to talk to him and ask him questions. Even though back then he knew he was going to be doing a bunch of shows in Brooklyn, he didn’t know who his guests were going to be on Jimmy Kimmel Live almost four months ahead of time.
So one reporter asked him who he would like to have the show that he hasn’t already. The ABC late night host said, “I would like to have Letterman on the show. That would be a thrill for me personally.” Then someone else asked if he had tried to book The Late Show host and he said, “We have, we have. He’s always very nice and I think eventually, it will happen one day.” That one day will be tomorrow. So why does he want to interview Letterman more than anyone he hasn’t, he responded with “He is a guy I have idolized since I was a kid.” So back then when this was a fantasy, a reporter asked him how he thinks that interview would go if it became a reality. Here is how he responded about the possibility chatting on his show with his dream get, “I don’t think I will be able to speak any questions on the show. I really don’t want to have him on the show, but I do want to have him on the show. It will also be one of the most difficult shows of my life. I have to say for a 15 year old Jimmy Kimmel, it would be the greatest story ever.” So you will have to tune into ABC tomorrow night at 12m to find out if he will be able to ask him any questions and stare at the man whose name he wrote all over his notebooks when he was a teen.
But before we to watch him interview Letterman, we will get to see him chat will someone who is also an Idol to him. When I asked him who he put up there with Letterman as a person who is hard to interview because you respect them so much, he said “Howard Stern was one I felt like I had to prepare for. Some of the interviews you can bullshit your way through. You know you want to impress them.” Now the two of them are really good friends, so tonight you will get to see what it is like for Kimmel to talk to the Shock Jock now as compared to when he was on the show the first time way back when.
Also on the show tonight, because yes they are going on with it after Hurricane Sandy forced the cancellation of their first Brooklyn show yesterday, are Tracy Morgan and Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings.
UPDATE: Elsewhere in NY late night, Jimmy Fallon will have an audience once again on tonight’s Late Night on NBC at 12:37a. While David Letterman will go without, yes without, an audience again tonight The Late Show at 11:35p with The Weather Channel’s Jim Cantore, Ken Burns and music from Andrew Bird. Seriously how awesome were both of their show’s yesterday! You know in a way I kind of liked the audienceless shows better because it feels more intimate for the television viewers.
Tom Hanks was a guest on The Late Late Show yesterday and his chat with Craig Ferguson was one of the funniest things I have seen in a while. They talked about so many things, that I cannot go into all of them in this post. But my favorite part is when Forrest Gump says that he can teach the audience how to talk in a Scottish accent with just two words. Those two words are “silver plate” and Ferguson, who is Scottish, disagreed with him. The CBS late night host then really tried to teach him how to talk like a Scot, but it didn’t work out that well. What I think worked out great is when Hanks said that he wanted to ride Secretariat and Ferguson made it happen. If you watch the show show, you know why that is quite an accomplishment. If you don’t watch, then you have to watch to see what happened. Let’s just say he took it lying down and I am not sure who was more uncomfortable the horse or Hanks. And I am assuming he gave the horse his number because it is the proper thing to do in that situation!
Seriously I love Tom Hanks and this interview just made me love him a little more. So much so he can ride me like Ferguson’s horse any time he wants. Joking…
The Octomom has entered rehab for an addiction to Xanax according to TMZ. Her rep released a statement saying, “Nadya wanted to get off the Xanax she was prescribed by her doctor and learn to deal with her stress, exhaustion and anxiety with professional help with a team of doctors. Nadya wanted to deal with her issues and make sure she is the best mother she can be.â€
And when it comes to who is taking care of her 14 children, TMZ says she left her nannies and not her own parents in charge of them for the 30 days that she away is from them. Which is something I could never understand.
Personally I think she should’ve entered rehab after having her 5th kid via in vitro because that was an addiction that she really needed help with.
