Back in 1983 ABC aired a miniseries about what would happen if a nuclear bomb hit the United States, and now Nuclear Family is doing the same but with a different scenario post the apocalypse and yet in an equally as scary and intense way. John (Corin Nemec) and Karen (Sharon Lawrence) are about to get a divorce and a loud noise will shake their world and ours as a nuclear bomb crash lands down on the USA. Instead of running towards the city, they run to the woods with their children and find out a camp has been created for the survivors. The people in charge of it have different plan than the survivors and now John and Karen have to fight for their lives and the lives of their kids from the leader(Ray Wise). This suspenseful movie looks like a real nail biter that will keep you up for weeks thinking what would happen if the world would come to an tomorrow; and because of that I can’t wait to see it.
Mark Paul Gosselaar threw a real Franklin and Bash yesterday when he finally married his girlfriend Catriona McGinn. Zach Morris and the advertising executive tied the knot at the Sunstone winery in Santa Ynez, Ca. According to People his two children from his first were a big part of the wedding. No word when they will be getting any siblings, but I am sure it will be pretty soon.
Jared Padalecki Tweeted a picture of his son showing some team spirit and all I could think is how freaking cute he is. It looks like four month old Thomas is going to be a heartbreaker just like his proud pop!
Today at the ABC Press Tour the network announced who will be taking part in the Dancing with the Stars All-Star edition. The stars that will be back in the ballroom are Kirstie Alley, Pamela Anderson, Helio Castroneves, Joey Fatone, Shawn Johnson, Drew Lachey, Gilles Marini, Kelly Monaco, Apolo Anton Ohno, Bristol Palin, Melissa Rycroft and Emmitt Smith. While Sabrina Bryan, Carson Kressley and Kyle Massey are campaigning for that last spot to be part of the show. When it comes to who they will be dancing with that we will have to wait until August 13th to find out.
Just to give you a hint how much the show has grown over 15 seasons, the first mirror ball was actually a lamp shade painted gold. Now the show’s executive producer Conrad Green hinted that they might be changing that up this season, but they are not sure how.
One thing that won’t be changing is the judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonoli and Len Goodman. I asked Green if he would doing what shows like American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance and The Voice (in the spring) are doing and replacing their judges. He said, “I think that our judges are a huge strength of the show. I think consistency is a huge strength in these shows. Also the judges are an important part of this show. There is a lot going on our show. You’ve got 12/13 professional dancers, you’ve got 12/13 celebrities, you’ve got two hosts and three judges. So you don’t want to change everything every season, there is a lot of change already with our show each season. Actually the consistency of having such good judges, I think is a real positive for our show rather than chopping and changing the stunts every year.”
So if Conrad Green could cast any celebrity to do the show, who would it be? That person is one of the world’s biggest living celebrities former President Bill Clinton. I think he should do it, what about you?
