Political Animals is an affair to remember tonight
July 22nd, 2012 under USA Network. [ Comments: none ]

Political Animals is back with its second episode on USA tonight at 10p and I honestly think it is better than the pilot.
In tonight’s episode we flash back to the moment that Elaine Barrish (Sigourney Weaver) found out her husband former-President of the United States (Ciarán Hinds) cheated on her. As you watch those flashbacks, you get to think that this is what Hillary Clinton must’ve gone through when she found out Bill Clinton and his many mistresses. It is played out with such heart and such compassion, you can’t help be drawn into Elaine’s lowest moment and find yourself feeling for her. You get to see how just tough and yet how weak she is when the man she loves betrayed her.
Now back to the current day her ex-husband is being sent overseas to get three American hostages back to the USA who have been sentenced to death. You get to witness what it must be like for international political figures negotiate for human lives and what stupidities can hinder that goal. Will Bud Hammond be able to do it or will he serve his ex-wife yet another embarrassment to her overstuffed plate? You will have to tune in to find and watch it all the way until the end because someone very close to her will betray her big time in the final seconds of the show. I can’t tell you who, but I can say you will be left with your mouth wide open, kind of like one of Bud’s ex-mistresses…
What makes Political Animals so special is that Greg Berlanti creates heartfelt family dramas that everyone can relate to and you can actually feel for the characters. His words and scenarios just grab hold of your heart strings and never let go. Out of all the show creators out there, I think he writes the realest characters on TV. And unlike other shows, the man who brought us Everwood and Eli Stone, writes episodes that have a feel good feeling about them. I am always happy when some graduates from one of his shows to create their own because that means there will be more shows like his on TV and let’s be honest we all need them.

Craig Ferguson is a late night host with a huge heart
July 21st, 2012 under Craig Ferguson. [ Comments: 1 ]

Craig Ferguson pretaped his Friday night show on Thursday before the Aurora, Co and in that monologue he talked about The Dark Knight Rises. So the CBS Late Late Show host came in on his day off and recorded a special message to replace the monologue. His words and the way he said gave me chills because it was so heartfelt. You can tell he was sincere as he talked to all of us through the camera. I respect him so much for being real and changing his show because of the day’s events and not just letting it air as it. It shows he is more than a man getting paid for a job, but a person who cares.
And when it comes to his words let’s honor what he said. Thank you Craig for being more than a man who takes the money and hides.

Laura Prepon goes dark
July 20th, 2012 under That '70s Show. [ Comments: none ]

We have seen Laura Prepon as a red head and blonde and now we are getting to see her with black hair. The That ’70s Show actress Tweeted this along with the picture, “New hair color for a project! I’m liking it so far…” So am I. In fact I don’t think she should ever go back to those other two colors. The darker hair really brings out her eyes and actually softens her. What do you think of her new look?

Charlie Sheen is single
July 20th, 2012 under Charlie Sheen, Jimmy Kimmel. [ Comments: none ]

Charlie Sheen was on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday and the host asked him if was living with any Goddesses? Sheen said that he had he nothing, no steady girlfriends or anything. So Kimmel asked him things are oK and responded by saying, “Things are great. That’s why I came back out tonight, I thought we could rekindle things.” You see the last time he was on the Emmy nominated late night show, he kissed Kimmel smack on the lips. In fact that kiss was still on Kimmel’s mind over a year later, he was still hurt that Sheen never called him after their lip lock. And then he asked Sheen to “rate him, as far as his lips went.” Sheen said, “Very moisturized…and you followed my lead which I always appreciate. You didn’t try to force your issues on to me.” So I guess we now know that Kimmel is his girlfriends bitch when it comes to kissing and that is a good thing.
When it comes to Sheen, what is up with him being Goddess free? Damn The Choice and Take Me Out for snatching up all of his prospective dates.
