Before Erica Durance worked as a newspaper reporter on Smallville, she worked as a nanny in 111 Gramercy Park. She looks exactly the same now as she did when she was 24 in that 2003 episode.
Ashton Kutcher faced a room full of critics for the first time since he joined Two and a Half Men and he really cleaned up for the encounter. The actor finally got a much needed haircut and shaved off his scraggly beard. As soon as he walked out everyone looked up and wanted to know why. So I asked him what the new look was about and he said “It’s related to the show completely.” Show creator Chuck Lorre then added that will we see the dramatic makeover during Monday’s episode on CBS at 9p and “It’s an interesting story.”
He is not the only one with a new hairdo, red head Holland Taylor is sporting gray locks. During the panel Jon Cryer said she just Tweeted a picture with Hillary Clinton and when I saw that picture on her Facebook page I was surprised to see her with the new hair color. I am not sure why she has a new look, but I think the actress looks beautiful either way. UPDATE: Holland Taylor does not have a new hair color. She Tweeted me this when I asked her about it, “…it’s a wig…am playing the GREAT ANN RICHARDS at @kencen. Hence, the Secretary of State’s visit.”
Tonight at 9p Erica Durance goes from playing Lois Lane on Smallville to putting on the Wonder Woman costume for Harry’s Law on NBC. Adam needs to defend her because she has been dressing up as the female superhero and beats up the husbands of their abused wives; and now one of those husbands wants her to go to jail. Adam’s defense of her will lead to her having an emotional scene on that stand. So powerful that it is something you haven’t seen her do before and she pulls it off so Wonder Woman-fully.
Her heart-wrenching case isn’t the only one on the show tonight. Harry and Tommy Jefferson go duck hunting and see one of the tigers that has recently escaped from the zoo. When they go to tell the homeowner (played by Haven’s Emily Rose) whose property they were hunting on, she asks them to defend her because she might’ve committed kidnapping. One of the other animals has found a way to her home and she wants to get custody of the ape. Since she is a speech therapist she is able to communicate with the ape and she has taught him so much that she thinks it is cruel to keep him at the zoo as the only ape there. She wants to adopt him, so that she can get him to an animal conservatory and he can live a happy long life there.
Will Adam and Harry win their cases for their clients, you will have to wait to find out tonight when you watch the most poignant episode so far for the legal drama produced by David E Kelly who really knows how to pull the heartstrings.
Tonight on Suburgatory at 8:30p Travis Cobb goes from being in college to going back to high school on Suburgatory. He is the new kid in school and Tessa is asked to show him around. As she tours the school with him she has a perception of him which might not be true. She isn’t the only one perceiving something about someone that might not be the case, it is a genetic thing because her dad thinks something about Dallas that just might not be. Tune in to find what they think about others that just isn’t necessarily there in an episode that will have you laughing from beginning to end. Oh and did I mention that Jeremy Sisto is wet and in a towel again? And when it comes to the melons, you will have to watch for a bit that will make you wonder how they got that through the censors.
But before we go to the suburbs, we go to Indiana with The Middle at 8p. The show pays tribute to the late Francis Bay who played Aunt Ginny on the show. As they honor her it brings out things in the Hecks. Sue will become a cheerleader and with that she will get something she never thought she would get. She will have a moment which will make you so happy for her. Meanwhile Axl and Brick will do something together that will have you eating them up. Tune in for a touching episode that gives you plenty of chuckles.
