On Monday, January 30th Gossip Girl will turn 100 and to celebrate the honor they are opening the episode with a dream sequence paying homage to two screen legends. Blake Lively dresses as Marilyn Monroe in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and Leighton Meester looks like Audrey Hepburn in Sabrina. While Blair Waldorf is perfect on the Hollywood Icon, Serena van der Woodsen looks more like Jack Lemmon or Tony Curtis trying to be women in Some Like It Hot than Marilyn herself. She gets no XOXO from me.
Last night was the start of a new season of American Idol and Jimmy Kimmel Live wanted to see if anyone could name who won the singing competition last year. So he sent Cousin Sal out on to Hollywood Blvd to interview the people on the street and asked them that very question. Person after person was stumped, as I was for the most part of that bit. But then finally at the end one woman was able to say the name, and can you remember who that person was? If you can’t, then maybe you are like me and gave up the show because you realized it wasn’t worth caring about anymore.
BTW you have to watch that video not only to find out who won American Idol 10, but also to see a man with the cutest laugh and a girl confuse her dad for another reality star she shouldn’t have.
When it was announced that Ricky Gervais was going to host the Golden Globes several Hollywood celebrities got so nervous they crapped in their pants. So what makes him crap in his trousers? Well now we know what does it because he Tweeted the above picture and said “Isn’t it funny when the FX guy tells you it’s not a very big bang, but it actually makes you shit yourself..” Looks like Johnny Depp finally got his revenge on him for admitting to the world that just like almost everyone in it no one saw The Tourist. Either that or Justin Bieber’s fans are finally making good on their threats?
Before Carly Chaikin showed no emotion on Suburgatory, she was was full of emotions when she saw a spider on the Bar-be-que. How great is it to see the 19 year old showing some expressions in that 2009 home video.
