A day after Brett Ratner “resigned” from hosting this year’s Oscars, Eddie Murphy, the star of his bomb Tower Heist and his choice to host the shindig has done the same. The SNL alum said this in a statement from AMPAS, “First and foremost I want to say that I completely understand and support each party’s decision with regard to a change of producers for this year’s Academy Awards ceremony. I was truly looking forward to being a part of the show that our production team and writers were just starting to develop, but I’m sure that the new production team and host will do an equally great job.” Now that he is out, I am bummed because with the right production team he might have done a great job! Afterall he was once a very funny guy!
Now who should host the Academy Awards??? Hands down please please please bring back Billy Crystal!!!
UPDATE: The Academy announced that Brian Graizer (the guy who has Sideshow Bob’s hairstyle will produce the Oscars with Don Mischner.
Last week on American Horror Story the big mystery was who were those teens that were going after Tate, well tonight at 10p on FX you will find out exactly who they are and how they died. And another person’s death in the house will be shown and we will find out another shocking resident who once lived in the “Murder House.” That reveal blew me away! In fact the whole episode blew me away because I think it is the best one so far. So much explained that it makes me believe that my theories are on track!
Yesterday Daniel Tosh Tweeted, “open casting call today in LA to replace me as host of tosh.0! prepare jokes for this video (see above)” and people started to wonder if he was leaving his Comedy Central show. Well I can let you all breath a little easier because a rep for the show said that it is just for a bit that is going to air on the season finale of the show this Tuesday at 10p!
Thankfully it is a one-time deal because I don’t know what I do without Daniel Tosh and Tosh.0. I probably would fart a little more because Buddy Hackett said if you hold in a laugh it will come out another way! So thanks to Tosh.0 I am a lot less farty because the show makes me laugh so much!!!
Annie Leibovitz is one of the most sought after photographers by celebrities and now we get to see what it looks when a celebrity takes a picture of her. David Letterman went behind the camera and as you can see his first shot didn’t turn out so well. And when it comes to his second attempt, on a positive note at least it was in focus. I really think that both of them need to stay on their sides of the flash.
Now having said that, I want to see what she can do with the host of The Late Show.
