Mandy Moore came out for the World Malaria Day PSA unveiling and she posed with the nonprofit’s mascot and that mascot is a mosquito. Why do they need a mascot at all and why make it a mosquito? I know that is how it spreads, but who thinks that is cute and appealing to kids. Well I mean everyone, but Lepidopteras aka bug collectors will hate it.
I don’t know who I feel sorry for more in this picture…Mandy Moore having to be all smiles as she takes pictures with it or the poor guy that has to wear the suit. I am thinking that latter because that costume is GA.
Paul Reiser was booked on The Tonight Show last week to talk about his new show The Paul Reiser Show before it got cancelled on Friday. So on Sunday when I saw he was one of the guests on the show I wondered if he was going to do to the late night show what NBC did to him. Well he proved he has balls of steel because he appeared on the show 3 days after his show got the ax after just 2 airings. Luckily he had a good sense of humor about it, which is something I think his now defunct show was missing.
The Mad About you star said to Jay Leno, “They said, ‘They decided we are going to pull the plug because not enough people are watching.’ Which is odd because it is on NBC. And NBC, to my knowledge, they don’t traditionally make bad decisions.” And Jay responded with a chuckle, “Really?” To which Paul questioned him, “Have you had that expression? I don’t know what your experience is…” The former-prime time talk show host just threw his hands up and laughed.
If the My Two Dads star did jokes like this on his show, it seriously might’ve lasted more than two showings.
In fact he went to joke about it because when Christina Aguilera, who was sitting next to him, said she now feared for her new show The Voice that debuts on NBC at 9p, he told her not to worry because NBC spent the advertising dollars on his show to promote her’s! Me and ow!!!
Before Vanna White was turning letters on Wheel of Fortune, she was a contestant on The Price is Right. How beautiful does the 23 year old look with flatter non-game show host hair in that 1980 episode?
Adam Pally took his Happy Endings’ director Fred Savage on a 3 minute car ride and asked him the questions we have always wanted to ask. Questions like did he hook up with Winnie Cooper? Blossom? Topanga? One of the Beckys? But it didn’t stop there, he also asked him if his Wonder Years’ co-star Josh Saviano aka Paul Pfeiffer is really Marilyn Manson. Since Kevin Arnold was trapped in a moving car, he answered all of his questions. So now that you know the truth about Fred Savage, do you have a Happy Ending?
On that note, if I were Adam Pally I would’ve been kinder to my director because he has the power to make him look like crap on the ABC sitcom that airs Wednesdays at 10p!!! So tune in every week to see how Adam’s role will be changed due this little car ride. Well that and it is really a funny show, and we all need to laugh on hump day.
Finally I hope this is the first in the series of Riding Shotgun with Adam Pally because it’s brilliant and it works.
