Blue Bloods is this season’s highest rated new show and it did that being on Friday nights at 10p. Well not for the next weeks (if not longer) because the show is moving to Wednesdays at 10p starting tonight. And by the looks of it, you better watch or Donnie Wahlberg will arrest you!!!
Actually for some women Tom Selleck and his mustache are enough of a reason to watch, but for me it is all about the New Kid on the Block…well that and how freaking awesome this show is. I am normally am not into cop shows, but Blue Bloods is so much more than that. It is also a family show with four generations getting along as one happy family and these days we are in more need of that!!!
Now back to that picture, seriously how sexy does he look in it???
TV Land’s two-time SAG Award nominated hit comedy Hot in Cleveland is back on TV Land tonight at 10 and there is a TV legend reunion happening on the show. HIC picks up where the season finale left off with Elka in jail and her bunkmate might look familiar to her, but more importantly to us because it is Mary Tyler Moore!!! Yes the two legends who worked together in the ’70s are sharing the same TV screen and a jail cell together. Seeing the two funny ladies together is enough to watch, but there are three other ladies…Valerie Bertinelli, Wendie Mallick and Jane Leeves who are equally as funny.
Besides Elka being in jail, the other women will be going through some changes and you will have tune into watch. The one thing that didn’t change is the show is still freaking hysterical!!!
After Hot in Cleveland don’t retire for the night because Retired at 35 will premiere. David is a workaholic who goes home to visit his parents George Segal and Jessica Walter in Florida at their community center. Once there he decides to stay, but there is a big change coming for his family that no one could’ve foreseen and that sets up the show to be a perfect match with Hot in Cleveland.
Last week Deadline reported that Pac-Man (yes the video game not the boxer) is getting a reality show. Ever since I have wondered how the hell they were going to be able to pull it off. Thankfully Jimmy Kimmel Live got a sneak peek promo for the show and I can’t wait for it. I can understand why the Ghosts have forced him to do it.
Actually there really is a Pac-Man reality show coming, but it will be more like a competition show being held in a maze. I prefer the Kimmel version…don’t you too???
Ever since Elton John became a daddy, I have been posting that he had a Tiny Dancer because of his song. You know because that is the title of it, but I hadn’t listened to it in a really long time. Well thanks to Funny or Die, I am addicted to it again because it sounds more like Hold Me Closer, Tony Danza than Tiny Dancer. I know man the Who’s the Boss? is saying that it isn’t about him, but maybe Elton is like me and he wants Tony Danza to hold him Closer.
On that note, thanks to what Agent Bedhead told me the Urban Dictionary’s meaning of Tony Danza is…that misheard lyric is all types of wrong.
General Hospital announced that they were letting Rebecca Herbst aka Elizabeth Webber go after being on the show for 14 years. They released a statement to Soaps In Depth, “Storyline dictates the exit of Elizabeth Webber this spring. The next few months promise to be ‘not-to-miss” story for the character. We at ABC and GH wish Rebecca Herbst nothing but the best in her future endeavors.” I call bullsh!t on this one because there are so many people on the show that I think should’ve gotten the ax before her…
But I am not too worried for her because just like two of the shocking firings Greg Vaughn and Rick Hearst, I am sure she will land on another show very soon.
UPDATE: Her current and former co-stars are reacting to the news on Twitter. Steve Burton Tweeted: “Hello everyone, most of you have heard the horrible and awful news about Becky. My heart breaks as I even have to tweet this. One of the best and most beautiful actresses that has been on this show. Beside that, she’s a friend and that hurts. Some show will be lucky to have her.
