Comedy Central has chosen their next victim and it is Donald Trump and I have no idea what they will be able to roast him about??? In fact I am not alone because here is what he said about it, ““I’ll show up to the Roast because Comedy Central is paying me a lot of money, but I’m confused as to how anybody could make fun of me.”
This roast is moving to NY, so I wonder what changes they will be making to the format and who roasts him especially since untimely death of Greg Giraldo.
The show will be taped in March and air shortly after that.
This year the big story from late night television were the late night wars between Conan O’Brien and Jay Leno. Well even though we saw the negative side of late night TV through most of 2010, it isn’t going to end that way because direct competitors Jimmy Fallon and Craig Ferguson sent each other presents. The two hosts opened each others gift on their talk shows and I thought that the Late Late Show’s host present was purrfect, but the Late Night one’s warmed my heart! Actually I think it is sweet that even though one of them is one NBC and the other is one is CBS, they still made time to show there could be peace on late night television earth!
Lady Gaga was performing at London’s O2 yesterday when she picked up a Santa Clause doll and proceeded to bite his head off. When it didn’t want to come off, she threw it on the floor and used her spike heels to separate his head from the rest of his poor little body. After it was all done, she told the audience “I killed Santa.” I hope there weren’t any kids who still believed in him in the audience because they will be traumatized for life.
Since she has been naughty girl to Chris Kringle this year, I wonder what he will or won’t leave under the tree for year this Christmas year…
At this year’s Emmy Awards everyone in the cast of Modern Family over 21 got an Emmy nomination except Ed O’Neill and he was also ignored by the Golden Razzies, I mean Golden Globes too. Well now he is finally getting nominated for an award and it is by his peers, Al Bundy received a SAG Award nomination. About freaking time!
But he is not the only awesome nomination that was announced by SAG this morning, Hot in Cleveland got two nominations. One for Best Ensemble and one for Betty White. Hats off to TV Land for getting two nominations for their first ever scripted show. What other network can say that? And the noms are well deserved!
