Blake Lively thinks that being on Gossip Girl is deadly now according to what a source to Heat Magazine reports Bang Showbiz.
“Blake has asked producers to kill off her character.
“She’s tired of working on the show. It was great at the beginning, but she’s started to get bored of her storylines and all the petty fights on set.
“Nearly all the cast members have had some kind of bust-up. Besides the fact that she gets to work with her boyfriend, Blake wants to leave.”
Though producers have not yet agreed to Blake’s request, the actress has reportedly pitched a number of possible exit storylines to them.
The source added: “Serena’s been the show’s most dramatic character and Blake thinks she deserves a fitting exit.
“Execs aren’t convinced they’ll let her go but ideas have been thrown around. Suicide is one, though it’s likely to be an accident.”
I have no problem with them killing her off because her voice so irritates me and don’t get me started on her annoying character. I say good riddance and make her death a good one because that is what we missed out on when Grey’s Anatomy got rid of the Blake, you know Katherine Heigl.
Now as much as I can’t stand Blake’s snotty voice, I have to admit I was able to tolerate in The Private Lives of Pippa Lee so I can understand her wanting to make the move to the big screen. But so far her big screen ventures have proven to be duds. Although I think Green Lantern will do well, it will have nothing to do with her but just because it is a based on a comic book superhero.
So when it comes to her reported request, I hope the writers do it because I so wouldn’t miss her and her voice.
Now that I have seen the full trailer for The Romantics, I actually want to see it when it comes out on September 10th. I can’t believe I am saying this about a movie with Katie Holmes, but it looks like could be The Big Chill for our generation.

So yesterday on the season premiere of ABC’s Dating in the Dark, Joey thought that Natasha was a little thick because he felt a roll around her mid area. So when they met alone in the dark he decided to feel her up and down to see if she had some extra meat on her. Well he found out she was actually skinny and thought by telling her why he did that that she would find that a turn on. He then went on to tell her about how his ex-girlfriend “blew up like a tick” aka got fat and he couldn’t have sex with her. Needless to say after that Natasha thought of him like a tick and avoided him. In fact so did the other two women on the show and he went home alone. I am sure now that that episode has aired, he will be going home alone a lot. Seriously who would want to date him after that? I mean what is he going to do if he were to ever get married and his wife got pregnant, how would he react to her blowing up like a tick? Would he leave her for putting on some pounds because she carrying his baby? Sad. And what is even sadder is the Jersey boy actually thought being brutally honest like that would get him the girl, guess what he is so wrong.
But someone who got it right with a girl is Dating in the Dark host Rossi Morreale who got married to Kacey Coppola Saturday on the island of Antigua in the Caribbean. He told People, “Even though I’ve now seen the most beautiful bride in the world, if I only knew her in the dark, I definitely would’ve still married her.” Joey see that is how it is done!!!
