The Late Late Show and Craig Ferguson won a Peabody Award for his interview with Desmond Tutu and tonight in honor of him accepting the Excellence in Broadcasting award today CBS is re-airing that episode at 12:36a. If you missed it when it aired last March (like I did), tonight is your chance to watch one of the most impressive interviews you will ever see in late night. I am not saying that because I am a huge fan of Craig’s, but I was sincerely blown away by his chat with Desmond Tutu and I know you will be too. I never thought I would watch an interview with Desmond Tutu before this, nor did I think I would be so intrigued by it, but I can’t begin to tell you how amazing it is and how much I enjoyed it. But then again I think winning the Peabody Award says it all. So please make sure to watch one of the finest hours of late night TV ever, when CBS re-airs this exceptional talk between a vulgar lounge entertainer and a Nobel Prize Peace winner tonight at 12:26a. Chris Daughtry announced on his website that his wife Deanna and him are getting two very special gifts to celebrate their 10th anniversary because they are expecting twins in November.
The statement read, “Due to Deanna’s partial hysterectomy in 2006 the couple used IVF and had their embryos transferred to a gestational surrogate, the babies will join the couples’ other children – Hannah and Griffin.
‘Deanna and I are overjoyed about this double blessing,’ says Chris. ‘Thank you for your expressions of love and support and for respecting for our privacy during this special time.'”
That is such wonderful news for them and what a way to celebrate 10 years of being married to each other! The twins are Chis’ first biological children and his wife’s second and third.
BTW I wonder when Chis had time to make these babies because he was away a lot promoting his chart topping album Leave This Town with his band Daughtry around the time they got pregnant. I guess it only takes one time! Congrats to the 4 of them that soon will become 6!
Tonight is the season finale of House and what an episode it is. House and Cuddy leave the hospital and go into the field to help victims of a crane collapse. When House finds a woman who trapped under all the rubble, he stays with her and does everything in his power to keep her alive. When the crew has done all that they can to get her out, she will have to make a decision that will change House and her forever. That decision isn’t the only thing to happen on tonight’s episode. There is big relationship news for someone and someone else hands in their resignation. Something else big is going to happen, but I won’t know until tonight because Fox cut the last few minutes off the screener. So what ever it is must be huge because why else would they keep it a secret until tonight…
So tune in to Fox tonight at 8p for an emotional, well acted season finale with a lot of cliffhangers for next season!
Today is a gloomy day in LA and no matter how sad it looks on the outside, it is even more depressing in here because FunnyOrDie interviewed the cast behind Golden Girls XXX. Yes that XXX means that they are making a pornody (porn parody) of The Golden Girls. Hearing about it was bad enough but seeing how the cast looks in it made it a millions times worse. I can’t even describe how I feel about it in words, so what I will tell you is I am off to curl up into a little ball and cry in the shower to make that icky feeling go away. How can they do that to Golden Girls? It is a sacrilege.
WGNO (via TV Newser) in New Orleans did a story about the G-Spot shot which is titillating enough, but the editor got excited with the package and what they did with it will turn you on. So sit back, grab a tissue and enjoy!
And remember to play it safe because WFOR (via SFL TV) did a story about bedroom injuries. I am not sure if Antonion Mora suffered from such an injury or the concept of it all got to him, but I enjoyed giggling with him as he talked about fractured penises. Granted I am sadist, so that whole piece aroused my interest!
